Dia's phone rang. She went to the balcony to take the call. She came back after a few minutes.

"Today is Sameer's birthday. He invited us to a party. Do you want to go?" She asked me while sitting on the bed.

I kept the book I'm reading on the table near me. "Yeah, we have to go right? It's Sameer's birthday." I said using my duh tone.

"Dad wouldn't allow us to go to the party." She sighed.

"Why?" I asked her.

What's wrong with going to a Birthday party? And of course, it's Sameer's birthday right.

"Partying is not allowed. My curfew is 6 pm. And the party is at 9. So there is no way they will allow us to go." She told with a sullen look.

"Uncle is not here and we could ask grandpa," I told her. They like Sameer so I don't think it would be an issue.

"They won't allow us, Amy, this is not the USA. They say it's not safe for girls. But Sameer really wanted us to come. I don't have the heart to tell him we couldn't when he invited. I will message him and say Ryan is not feeling sick or something."

"Why are you using my name? Anyway, We could sneak out. We can finish dinner early and pretend to go to bed and sneak out after everyone retired for the night. They wouldn't know." Ryan sneaked upon us smiling mischievously.

"How long are you eavesdropping on us?" Dia inquired him glaring at him.

"I entered the room but you guys didn't see me so I'm not eavesdropping, you both are blind. And about the party, I think we could sneak out."

"No no I don't think that's a good idea. We are 14. We can't sneak out. What if something goes wrong?" Dia started panicking.

"We could take a cab and go stay for half an hour and sneak back in. Don't forget Jason will be there with us." I am feeling pretty adventurous with the idea of sneaking out.

"So you in for sneaking out?" Ryan asked Dia.

"Yeah, if you both are sure. We are not going somewhere else. We are just going to Sameer's place right." Dia replied still a bit unsure.

"Oh, but we shouldn't tell Jason," Ryan ordered out of nowhere.

"Why?" Dia and I ask him at the same time.

"He won't allow us to sneak out," Ryan replied. Somewhere I agree with him. Jason would never allow us to sneak out. From what I observed he doesn't even like Sameer. He always looked irritated with Sameer's mere presence.

But, who never went anywhere without her parents can't take us, two lost souls in this city. I want Jason to come but then again I'm sure he will just yell at me if I asked him.

I wore a sea-green sleeveless button-up shirt with light cream-colored pants and finished the look with a gold shimmer belt and gold charm bracelet.

Dia wore a simple kurta and leggings. Ryan walked in his T-shirt Jeans and converse shoes.

"Ready to go?" He asked us.

Dia nodded yes. Ryan walked first to check if anyone was in the living room after checking no one was there, he messaged us.

After getting out of the gate, we spotted the taxi that Dia booked for us already waiting. It's a short 10min drive. We reached the house and some guys were standing by the small gate.

The house looked old with paint chipping off from walls, cracks in the ceiling, and wood stained doors. There are some 15 guys in the living room with 4girls. There are photos of Sameer with his parents on the walls.
