I'm busy making plans with Ryan for the weekend. We are thinking to invite Sophie for a sleepover. We spoke in hushed tones at the breakfast table earning curious looks from Peter and Kristina.

Jason is eating his toast with his face stuck in his cell phone. Anyway, so Peter and Kristina are going to New Jersey for the weekend to attend a wedding. So here we are, planning all the things we could do over the weekend.

"What are you two talking about?" Asked Kristina buttering her toast.

"Nothing, just school stuff" replied Ryan.

She eyed suspiciously but didn't comment.

After breakfast, we went to Jason's car. We both got in the back seat to discuss our plans.

"I'm not the driver here." He remarked looking at us angrily through the rearview mirror.

I giggled but didn't move an inch and neither did Ryan.

"One of you come to the front seat or say goodbye to my car rides once and for all," he said, switching the engine off, glaring at us

I looked over at Ryan and he is not budging from his place giving me an imnotgoingtomove look, That leaves me to change my seat. Clenching my fists I moved to the shotgun. Once Jason started the car I veered around to face Ryan.

"We should have a karaoke party, it's been a long time," I told him turning back towards Ryan.

"Nah, I would pass, I can't hear your horrible voice singing. I'm thinking more of a gaming night." Ryan insinuated.

"No way. I hate your games. I can't turn into a zombie-like you, skipping food, water, and sleep so that I could play games all night." I have a lovely voice and I hate Ryan's video games.

"Let Sophie decide then." I smiled mischievously... I know she loves karaoke just as much as me, even though she does hate games as much as me.

"What are you two planning?" Jason asks with his eyes still on road.

"Your parents are going out of town for the weekend right, so we are planning to invite Sophie for a sleepover," I replied

"No, you guys can go over to Sophie's because I'm having a party on Saturday," I noticed how he commanded us to go over to Sophie's instead of requesting us. Asshole.

Uh oh, whenever Jason is having a party at his place, Ryan comes over to mine, Jason never allows Ryan to stay during his parties because high school parties turn wild at the end with people making babies in open or skinny dipping in the pool. Jason never had a party at his place ever since I moved with them.

"It's not at all comfortable at Sophie's house for a sleepover. Her parents scare the shit out of me." Ryan said looking horrified at the thought of spending the weekend at Sophie's.

That's true. Her parents are strict in their ways and we don't want to be grilled the entire time. They are serious regarding Sophie's studies. Nowadays they are under the impression that Sophie is wasting her time with us instead of studying.

"Jason change your party to some other time," I told him. No way I'm going to listen to him.

"My parents are going for the weekend, I don't know when that's going to happen again. You will change your sleepover to next week."

"No, I don't want to, Why should I change my plans for that stupid party of yours?"

"Are you raising your voice at me? I feel the same.. why should I change my party because of you? And you three hang out all the time." He said with gritted teeth and sending a glare my way.
