Hermione Granger One Shots and Shorts

Set-up

"Hey Celia!" I called for my eldest child

"Yes ma?" She said

"You ready?" I asked her in a hushed tone

"Always am!" She said excitedly

"Let's go annoy your mother then." I said as I high fived her. We walked towards the living room where Hermione, Bailey and Jarred were sat. I stayed behind Celia as she walked in.

"Hey mum?" Celia started

"Yes sweetheart?" Hermione replied

"If you had to choose one person would you choose the prettiest girl in the world or ma?" Celia asked her.

"What type of question is that? Your ma of course!" Hermione replied without thinking.

"So you're saying ma's not the prettiest girl in the world?" Celia asked teasing Hermione

"W- what?" Hermione stuttered and was cut off

"Ma! Mum said you're not the prettiest girl in the world!" Celia called for me and I walked in the living room acting as innocent as I can be.

Yes I'm becoming an actor just to annoy Hermione.

"S- so you're saying I'm not pretty?" I said pretending to be hurt.

"N- no! I- I never said that! Y- Y/n, she's setting me up!" Hermione stuttered out as she reasoned and pointed to Celia. At this moment, the kids are now giggling at the sight of their parents reactions.

"No I'm not, I asked mum who she'd pick. The prettiest girl in the world or you. Then she answered you." Celia replied.

"So I'm not the prettiest girl to you?" I said sounding sad trying so hard to hide my smirk.

"N- no! I didn't say that! Ugh, you cheeky cheeky girl! Jarred help me, ma and Celia's bullying me again!" Hermione said asking our youngest son for help.

"Sorry mum I'm team ma on this one." Jarred replied with his hands above his head in surrender.

"What! All of you are traitors!" Hermione said as all of us except her laughed loudly.

"Don't worry mum Bailey's here to save the day!" Bailey said as she looked up and held her waist with both hands like a superhero.

"My hero!" Hermione said as she walked towards Bailey and hugged her tightly.

We all laughed at our family's weird but fun humor. The laughter died down after a couple of minutes.

"Okay kids, who's ready for ice cream?" I said. I loved spoiling the kids even though Hermione tried to stop me. Yes, TRIED.

"Me" The children answered in unison. I saw the excitement in their eyes. Even Hermione's eyes lit up when I mentioned ice cream. So I had to tease her.

Sorry Bailey.

"Sorry the ice cream's only for team ma." I teased as Celia and Jarred made faces to annoy the two more. 

"Y/n!" Hermione shouted as she hit my arm playfully.

"Just kidding! Let's go now. " i said as we all walked towards the kitchen. I pulled Celia to the side where no one can hear us.

"Celia, here's your galleon." I whispered to her ear. She smiled widely and said "It's nice doing business with my favorite parent."

My eyes narrowed at her. She then realized what she just said and muttered a sorry. She knows how I don't like them having favorites between Mione and I. Not because I'm not the favorite one, no. It's because Hermione is the least favorite one and I know that'd hurt her if she knew.

We went to the kitchen and grabbed a tub of ice cream for the family to share. We spent the day binge watching movies while eating ice cream and popcorn.

Oh, how I love this family.
