I got kinda motivated because I heard this song (which is in Tagalog) and decided to do a chapter like this!

There are translations for those who don't know what any of these mean!

I just picked and changed some of the lyrics and not all to match the plot.

"Now, go be with Ron. He's waiting for you." I told Hermione who's now fully dressed for a date. She asked me to help her find an outfit, so even if it hurts that she was going with someone else, I did it anyways.

"Thank you Y/n! You're literally the best friend anyone could ever have!" She said as she engulfed me in a tight warm hug. I know we're just friends, but I can't help but melt into her touch.

"Of course. Best friend, yeah?" I stated, more like a question, but oh well.

"I'll see you later, okay?" She said leaving the common room.

"Alright, goodbye. Tell me the details later." I replied before she went out the talking painting.

I sighed and dropped my fake smile off my face then sat down the couch, facing the fireplace. I heard footsteps behind me but I'm too broken to look at who it was. But because of the uneven sound of steps, I figured it was Harry.

And it was.

"When will you tell her you like her, Y/n?" He asked, sitting beside me.

"Not now, Harry. She's happy with Ron and that's all I want." I said, turning my head to face him and smiled sadly at him.

"You want her to be happy with Ron?" He said (more like asked) unsure.

"No dumbass. I want her to be happy in general." I stated as I rolled my eyes and turning my head to look at the fire again.

"But you aren't happy yourself! I love you Y/n but if you don't tell her, I will." He said as he put a hand on my shoulder, narrowing his gaze at me.

I huffed "Fine. But not right now, maybe tomorrow." I replied as I sunk on the couch.

"Good. I'll get going now, Draco's waiting for me." He said as he stood up, ready to leave.

"See you, Har!" I exclaimed as he approached the exit. He waved at me for the last time before he disappeared.

After a while of staring at the fire as other students enter and leave the common room, I didn't notice the time that went by. It must've been late now. And when I checked the time, it was late indeed.

I got up and went to my dorm room and layed down comfortably on my bed. Just thinking of how to confess.

And how I might end up at the bottom of the astronomy tower unconscious if I mess anything up.

My thoughts were rudely interrupted by a loud slam of the door and sobs from a fan favorite:

'The one, The only, Hermione Granger'.

I quickly sat up and went towards her

"Hermione? What happened?!" I asked worryingly. Merlin, if this boy hurt my baby I will literally drown you down the black lake!
