I will never forget the smile you had when I first laid my eyes on you,

It was at the Great hall. When all the first years were getting sorted into their houses. I entered the Hall amazed by the sight of the floating candles and the hexed ceiling, and became even more amazed when my gaze locked to you. You were laughing at something your friends said.

You're now behind the door at the end of the aisle smiling widely from ear to ear.

From that day onwards, I already knew you're the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Ginny introduced me to her brothers and their friends including you. I blushed lightly as I shook your hand with mine. I just couldn't take my eyes off you.

The door opened slowly and I turn around just like everyone else to face you.

So I promised that I will be the one for you,

You started to walk slowly towards the altar.

I promise to make you smile, to make you laugh

Whenever you had troubles, I made a joke to make you laugh and forget about all the problems and stress you had.

Everyone has a smile to their faces, adoring your long white wedding dress and your beautiful appearance. Your bushy hair that I loved was braided in a style that complemented your dress.

I'll always be there whenever you need me

I saw you crying on the bottom of the great staircase. You were hugging your knees and sobbing as silently as you can. I rushed to where you were sat and comforted you.

You were sending a smile to every person as you pass by slowly nearing me.

I'll be patient with you at all times

You were canceling our study sessions to hang out with your friends instead. So everyday I waited outside your classes to walk you to the next just to see you.

You were now a few steps closer to me.

I promise that I will never change

You turn your head slightly to face me as we made eye contact and smiled widely at each other.

I love you very much

My eyes were now starting to water as I admire your features in that beautiful dress.

And I want you to be the happiest girl of all

You continued to walk past me as tears were threatening to fall from my eyes.

Even if we didn't end up together

You were greeted by your soon to be spouse.

He held your hand to guide you up the small stage. You looked back at me and smiled as you nod your head.

I'll always be your best friend

I wasn't able to handle my tears anymore. Tears bursted out my eyes as I watch you get married to my best friends brother. I just hid my sadness with a smile while still tearing up.

If only I was Ron.
