"She's a Bowtruckle!"

"A what now?" Hermione asked, clearly confused

"A Bowtruckle!" I said excitedly while I put out my hand to show her my pet

"And what does it do?" She asked as she warily glanced up and down my pet 'Pickie'

"Excuse me! It's a she! And she, can pick locks!" I said proudly

"And when do you ever need to pick locks?" She asked raising a brow at me.

"You never know Mione. Maybe one day when I get stuck or locked somewhere Pickie can help me out." I said, placing Pickie inside my pocket.

"You have your wand and Alohamora for a reason, Y/n." She sighed out as she rubbed he temples.

"And I have Pickie incase I lose those" I said grabbing Hermione's wrists and wrapping her arms around me.

"Don't stress about this love." I whispered softly to her ear as I rubbed her back slowly.

"I just- I don't trust you with pets" She said leaning on me while burying her head in the crook of my neck.

"Wait Hermione, are you- dare I say, Jealous? Of a pet? Really Mione?" I teased her as I wiggled my eyebrows to annoy her more.

"Shut it! I'm not jealous! What even makes you think I am!" She exclaimed quickly that if I wasn't listening I wouldn't have understood.

"Mione, your rambling. And don't worry, I'm all yours. Don't get jealous of Pickie, she's just a child. My child!" I said as we pulled out of the hug. She smiled at my demeanor and punched my side lightly before giggling.

"And if the two of you get along, she'll be our child along with Crookshanks. Only if you want tho-"

"Of course I want to!" She exclaimed suddenly as she cut me off.

"Aww, I knew you had a soft spot for me!" I said in a "baby voice" to annoy her as I pinch both her cheeks

"Alright shove off now." She said pushing my hands away her face while pouting.

"I love you, baby." I whispered pecking her lips gently and smiling genuinely at her.

"I love you too, darling." She replied as she smiled as well

"Now, do your homework!"

"Ugh. Fine!"
