"Ladies and gentlemen," Dumbledore announced his presence in front of everyone, they all stopped whatever the were doing and turned to face and listen to him.

"we've got a special treat for tonight
I'm gonna call one of the best students Y/n up here to sing to you ladies
Y/n!"

"Yeah!
Let's go, man
Okay"

The music started playing and I can feel every ones eyes on me already. I haven't even said a words yet.

"My name is Y/N, nice to meet you can I tell you, baby." I sang the first words holding the mic with both of my hands, winking at the girls in front of the crowd as I sent them a heart warming smile.

But I think their hearts aren't the only thing that warmed-. I mean- ANYWAYS!

"Look around there's a whole lot of pretty ladies." I sang, pointing around the hall where I assume girls were, but looking directly at a certain 'Bushy-haired' Gryffindor.

She looked surprised at me, she pointed to herself in question sending me a 'me?' look.

I nodded before singing the next words, "But not like you, you shine so bright, yeah." sending her a soft smile that reached up my eyes.

"I was wondering if you and me could spend a minute" I sing silently directing the lyrics of the song to her making her raise an eyebrow.

I took the mic off it's stand and walked over to where she was, the crowd parting and making way like I were Moses. "On the floor up and close getting lost in it"

She looked baffled as I extend my hand out for her to take, which she stares at before looking up to me unsure to take my hand.

"I won't give up without a fight" I sing as the lyrics matched her stubborn state at the moment. I gestured my fingers in a 'come here' motion which she smiled at. She rolled her eyes taking my hand in hers.

I pulled in her hand making her arm extend as she let out a surprised yelp of the sudden action. "I just wanna, oh baby
I just want you to dance with me tonight"

I pulled her towards the middle of the dance floor and connected both our hands before taking the lead dancing with her, swaying my hips while bopping my head with the beat. "So come on, oh baby
I just want you to dance with me tonight."

(A/n: yes, the mic magically floated. Surprised? No, probably not cause this is Wattpad.)

The crowd who was watching the both of us for their shit together and danced along with their friends and dates as the slowly surrounded Hermione and I. "We're getting sweaty, hot and heavy in the crowd now."

"Loosen up and let you hands go down, down." I wiggled her tense arms making her giggle at me.

"Go with it girl, yeah just close your eyes, yeah" I encouraged her as I slowly let her take the lead of our dancing.

"I feel the music moving through your body." This to me, our bodies moved in sync with the music, never breaking eye contact.

"Looking at you I can tell you want me
Don't stop keep moving till the morning light, yeah" I gave her a face while wiggling my eyebrows, making her gasp in realization and smacking my arm lightly.

"When I saw you there
Sitting all alone in the dark
Acting like you didn't have a care
I knew right then, you'd be mine"

"We'd be dancing the whole damn night, like" I paused my movements making her stop dancing as well looking at me with question in her eyes.

"Oh baby, I just want you to dance with me tonight" I her her hands and leaned back and did the shimmy, she down caught on what I was doing and leaned back as I leaned forward.

We smiled at each other as we took turns leaning back and forth, doing the shimmy.

"So come on, oh baby
I just want you to dance with me tonight" We started to down the twist, hands still holding each other.

I suddenly had an idea, removing my hands from Hermione's grasp.

I made a dance move then pointed towards the crowd, for them to copy my moves. Which surprisingly, they caught on and started to immitate my move. "Break it down now (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)"

"Shake it like that (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)" I made a move, shaking my arms in the air. Then pointed at them making them copy the 'dance' move.

"Now bring it all back
To dance with me tonight" I sang bringing Hermione close once more and turning her clockwise then counter clockwise making her giggle at my silly antic.

"One more time, one more time, come on now
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)" I made a silly dance then pointed at them, watching them as they tried to imitate me.

"Do your thing (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)" I sing extending my arms to tell them to made up their on dance move.

"Everybody sing
I just want you to dance with me tonight (come on)
I just wanna, oh baby
I just want you to dance with me tonight" I sang and stopped myself halfway as I her everybody sing with me, making my heart leap in happiness.

"Everybody, everybody, come on now
Pretty girl, just close your eyes" I grasped Hermione's hands once more and started to turn twirl her.

"We can dance all through the night" I walked a she backward and so did Hermione then extended our arms in between us, before stepping closer and bending our arms in the middle.

"I just want you to dance with me tonight." I sing as my like ghosted her lips, making her visibly shiver at my actions.

"And everybody sing
Pretty girl, just close your eyes
We can dance all through the night
I just want you to dance with me tonight." I smiled beamingly as everyone sang with me, glancing at the professors for a second, I could see that they were dancing and singing along with the students.

I think I saw Filch do the 'Woah'. And I swear I even saw Snape so a body rolled. Then Dumbledore- twerk!? Alright, I'm asking the Twins which on of them spiked the drink later.

"So come on
Pretty girl, just close your eyes

I just want you to dance with me tonight." I finished as the song faded and everyone errupted into cheers and applause.

I regained my breath while resting my forehead against Hermione's. Were smiled at each other before I connected our lips in a passionate kiss. Only parting when we were out of breath once more. I pecked her forehead then wrapped my arms around her, bringing her to a comfortable hug. Once we pulled away she smirked and whispered in my ear.

"Your dorm, 15 minutes after curfew."

She bit on my ear lobe before walking away, leaving me frozen on my spot. When did the brightest witch of her age become not so innocent!?

Welp, I think I might be doing the Tango until the morning.
