Hey guys, I said I wasn't going to apologize for late updates, but this one is incredibly late.

I honestly got swamped with work and wasn't sure how to write this next part. Which made it that I couldn't write it quickly whilst waiting for something.

Whilst I don't want to be THAT busy again, I do hope my work doesn't slow down too much, so I can't promise anything when it comes to uploading. I hope you guys are ok with that.

Lots of love, VioletHoney.

A row of exotic cats walked next to the quiet road. They didn't want to get too close since cars were few, but fast. However they didn't want to walk too far to the side where the smallest of them all, the white munchkin they were guiding, would have to jump to get through the snow. The situation was hard enough already.

It was Victor, the energetic siberian that tried to keep the mood light whilst the blue russian, Yulian, led the group in the right direction. Melody was grateful that she had met them. That they were so supportive and kind. They hadn't been at all like her father had told her. But then again, he wasn't how he had said either.

The walk was far for their little cat legs, but Melody was determined to see the boys again and her uncles wanted nothing but to help her. Some would curse at themselves for leaving their clothes at their hotel, making it that they couldn't just change. But Victor just laughed it all off and poked fun at them for not being "used to it". It seemed he was used to being a cat a lot more than the others.

"If she was on the property we would have found her by now." Yoongi said in a frustrated tone.

The boys had managed to postpone their flight back for one more day, but they were at a loss for what to do with the added time. The property had been searched over and over again and at any given time someone could be found searching around the property as well.

"Look, she has been here before. She should know the area enough to find her way back." Hoseok tried to calm his friend, fully aware that it had been years since Melody had been here, and he had no actual proof of her leaving the property.

"Remember last time we thought we lost her, and she arrived all drenched from the rain?" Seokjin giggled. Trying to lighten the mood and erase some of the sad faces.

"She has ran away before?" Li asked, inwardly confused about why they would then let her walk around.

"She likes to do her own thing." Taehyung said.

"She is independent, since she used to be a stray and all." Jimin added giving the others more hope.

"I'm going to check the road again." Yoongi said, being followed by Namjoon as he walked over the driveway and exited the property.

He and Namjoon had been through a lot together and the silence they shared was all they really needed right now. Namjoon started moving leaves around in the bushes as Yoongi stared at the giant fields of white snow. His heart sank as he wondered how on earth they were going to find his soulmate in all of that.

The longer they walked, the more Melody learned about her family. She had cousins, an aunt and an aunt that left the family through divorce. Some of her uncles had stayed in Russia, and some had flown in for the wedding. They weren't at all like Melody's father, but they seemed happy. Victor, her dad's polar opposite, perhaps seemed the happiest of all.

The siberian talked about all the places he had been as a stray cat, only turning human when needed. He talked about the weird looks he would get when boarding a plane with no luggage and no return ticket, and he would reminisce about all the places he had been.

His talks distracted Melody from the long walk. That seemed even longer than it had felt when she was running away. A lot longer in fact.

"Are you sure we are walking the right way?" She asked nervously. It was winter, so it was normal for the sun to set early, but was it really supposed to be getting darker already?

"Of course!" the manx said." We grew up here, we know where we are going!  See that corner there? That's where I crashed my car when I first learned how to drive!"

"your car?" the balinese finally spoke up. "I'm pretty sure that was Peter's car."

"Oh, semantics! the point is, they still haven't fixed that corner!" Victor waved the accusation away.

"That's because there is nothing wrong with that corner, it's your driving that is the problem." The blue russian retorted.

The nervous butterflies got shaken up by Melody's giggling at the bickering of her uncles. in many ways they reminded her of her new family. She sighed as she focussed on the corner they were all talking about. That corner, that was it, it had to be close to the house. They wouldn't lie to her. They were her only chance.
