Guys, Your comments truly mean a lot more than you think. I'm not too sure how to express it really as I am currently an emotional wreck due to the loss of my precious pet.

But I'll try to give you guys another part of my usual quality.

Lots of Love

"Are you ok?" Yoongi asked as Melody got ready in their shared bathroom.

"Why?" Melody asked again, avoiding answering.

"The whole thing with your father, it cant be easy..." Yoongi tried to tread lightly, knowing how had it hurt when anyone asked him these types of questions.

"I'm happy he's happy. besides- " Melody took a small break to hide the trembling in her voice. "- its not like he was around very often."

Melody was so busy brushing her hair and distracting herself that she didn't notice Yoongi closing in on her until she felt his arms around her waist.

"But you must miss him." Yoongi rested his chin on his girlfriends shoulder, leaning down just a bit as she was shorter than him.

"Sure I do. And my mom, the way she used to be." Melody turned around to look Yoongi in the eyes. "But I realize that is part of the past and I am nothing more than a memory to them now."

Melody wasn't sure if she could say this, she realized she had to tread very lightly, not to upset her partner, but they had to have this conversation.

"Just like whatever happened between you and your family is part of the past."

Yoongi looked away, not really wanting to talk about what had happened.

"My situation is different. I don't think they will ever be able to forgive-"

"I died." Melody interrupted. "Maybe not really, but to my parents at least, I died. Their only daughter, only child. I broke their marriage. and whilst my father seems to be doing well.. You have seen what happened to my mother. Every attempt I have made to see her has haunted her. Just a glimpse of my eyes -" a tear started to roll down Melody's cheek "- hurts her like a nail in her heart." Melody paused for a second to get her breathing stable again. " I don't know what happened between you and your family, but I think it might just be something that can be forgiven."

A long silence followed searching for someone to break it. But Melody had decided she had spoken enough, so now it waited for Yoongi to speak.

"I killed my brother." Yoongi whispered with an unstable voice as he sat down on the edge of the bathtub.

"How?" Melody asked, not believing the actual situation deserved the harsh wording he gave the situation. Yoongi wouldn't do that.

"A car crash." Yoongi started to shake as tears started flowing down his cheeks.

a silence

"He, hyung, was the only one in my family who supported my dream, so I begged him, begged him, to come see our first performance. And on his way he -" Yoongi stopped talking, just shaking his head.

"It was an accident " Melody said crouching down and comforting her boyfriend by rubbing his back. "It wasn't your fault.

"B-b-but if I hadn't asked him to come... if I hadn't begged..."

"He came because he was your brother, not because you begged." Melody whispered. "he came because he wanted to. Because he was a great brother."

Yoongi nodded. His brother had indeed been great. Amazing even. He had been Yoongi's role model and favorite person from a young age.

"You can't blame yourself for the accident. Neither can your family. When is the last time you saw them?"

Yoongi rubbed his hands, trying to focus on the motion rather than his broken heart.

"2012." he whispered.

"But?" Melody was confused, that was before the accident.

"I didn't dare go to the funeral." Tears welled up in Yoongi's eyes again, ashamed of missing such an important event. "I've been avoiding them ever since."

"I'm sure no one has been blaming you as much as you have been blaming yourself." Melody hugged her boyfriend as close as she could. "You shouldn't have gone through this by yourself."
