Fucking hell everything hurts.

I rubbed my sore, crumbling body.

I looked at my hands, I was grossed out by their bony appearance.

I never thought I'd get this bad.

Everything was cooling down, I was just about to get served whatever Kai'sa was cooking.

My thoughts wander to Evelynn.

I misjudged her, significantly.

I leaned back in my chair.

They really went out of their way to help me.

I run my thumb across the back of my index finger.

I don't deserve this.

I sigh out loud and clasp my hands.

Especially after I failed to keep them safe.

I glance to my left, the front stood there, ominously.

I could probably sneak out, while they're all busy.

I could run away right now, and save them the pain.

I snorted

Even if I tried, I'm certain Akali would track me down like a fox to a wounded bunny.

I ran my frail hands against my hair.

I made her a promise anyway.

And if she told Evelynn... well I'd have a better shot surviving a badger attack.

My thoughts quickly fade away as a plate is set in front of me.

Kai'sa: "Y-you looked deep in t-thought, s-sorry if I b-bothered you."

She smiled nervously.

I quickly go to comfort her.

Me: "No, it's fine, I needed a break from my thoughts anyway."

I smiled as best I could, with my cracking lips.

She blush before smiling back.

Kai'sa: "I made you stuffed potatoes with some extra veggies on the side."

Oh shit, this looks nice.

My mouth waters at the marvelous sight.

I chuckled

Me: "You didn't have to do all this for me."

She placed her hands on her chest.

Kai'sa: "But I wanted to."

I look away from her.

Fuck.

I looked down at the plate of food.

How the hell am I supposed to resist getting close to them when they treat me like this.

I feel my heartbeat speed up.

Kai'sa: "Ah! The doctor said you should take these pills before and after each meal."

She opened a small bottle with red pills. She popped two out, she set one on the table and gave one to me.
