Akali: "Yo."

Akali had snuck up on me and was now hopping on my back.

I managed to readjust my body to avoid falling over.

Me: "A little too excited to see me don't you think?"

Akali hugged me tightly.

She poked my head as I tried to walk forward.

Akali: "Hey I've got a question about your ability."

Akali: "How does apnoea get around your body?"

I hummed.

Me: "It goes through my blood, well originally anyway, nowadays it has its own system."

She hummed questioningly.

Me: "Let me explain, the human body is comprised of many different systems, ranging from vascular to skeletal to nervous."

I readjusted my grip on Akali.

Me: "Recently, Soraka has informed me that apnoea has evolved its own system, one that runs through all of my systems simultaneously."

She placed her chin on my head.

Akali: "Could you say that in English please?"

I chuckled.

Me: "In simple terms, my ability has fused to my body."

She hummed in understanding.

Akali: "That's cool."

I looked around for a dean.

Me: "Hey where are the others Akali?"

I continue looking around.

Akali: "They're a little further back, I'm sure they'll be here soon."

I smile.

Me: "Good."

I spot a dean and I flagged them down.

They come over quickly.

Me: "Good morning Aubrey, I'm heading out for lunch today."

She nodded.

Aubrey: "Alright, be back before fifth period."

I nodded back.

Aubrey: "Ah, she can't come."

Akali gasped

Akali: "Why not?"

She looked at Akali, unamused.

Aubrey: "Y/n has privileges due to his.. unique condition, you however have no such condition as stated on your transcript."

I sighed.

Me: "Please ma'am, she's going to find a way to sneak out anyway, you might as well make sure it's me who's got her safe guarded."

She shook her head.
