Chapter 14

Ariana's POV.

"Oh come on at least we can celebrate your bachelor's party." She suggested and he gave her a glare. She again shook him lovingly and he smiled,"Fine! I'll see what i can do." Sir said.

And she hugged him tightly,"Thankyou so much."

"Ahh..." He hissed in pain,"Easy Belle." Derek scolded her and she apologized and took her hands back from his neck.

"Mom already told you not to lift too much weight. Why don't you listen to her?" Sir didn't said anything and stayed silent. I saw him looking at me.

I diverted my eyes ignoring him which i usually do.

Mom was busy in some arrangements. And I was watching TV. I saw Aunt Jennifer coming in. She scanned the whole house looking for something or someone in particular.

She smiled at me and looked at mom,"Can I have a word with you?" Mom nodded and they went upstairs.

I was feeling bored. Belle came in and asked about Aunt Jennifer,"She's upstairs talking to mom." I informed and she heaved.

"Dad is asking for her." She sat next to me,"You know what Derek is 21. And approximately they've been married for twenty three years now still dad acts as if they just got married. He can't survive without mom." She said and i smiled. I wish I could say the same about my parents.

But a bitter feeling settled in me making me feel hollow from inside, they are just fighting. Sometimes for us or for any other reason.

I don't know why Rodrigo does that with mom. He should live happily instead of fighting and arguing.

"You are doing nothing right?" I shook my head and she took me to her home.

"I was missing spending alone time with you." She said and we started talking.

As sir wasn't feeling well so Aunt Jennifer asked him to rest so he's on leave for some days. So no tuition.

My phone rang and I saw Derek calling. He asked both of us to come to his room.

I wonder why is he calling us in his room.

We entered and saw him, sir and aunt Elena discussing about something.

"Come on come on." Derek said getting up and dragging me towards his bed where everyone was sitting.

"You know why I called you?" I shook my head and he said that he wanted to share his childhood memories with me.

I smiled and he showed me a picture,"who is he?"

"Ofcourse you." I said pulling his cheeks lovingly.

"And this."

"Belle!" I replied looking at her. She looks just the same. But more beautiful.

"These two were so happy when Belle was born." Aunt Elena said and she hugged both the brothers lovingly.

She told us how Aunt Jennifer and Aunt Elena used to babysit me when mom was busy with her works.

"Who is she?" I asked looking at a picture but when I saw Sir and Derek holding her i recognised it. It was Belle.

"It's you!" She said and my smile vanished. I was in sir's arm. And he was smiling looking at the camera. He looks like six-seven  years old and beside him was two years old Derek.

I turned crimson so does he. All of them were busy with the discussion of other pictures. And I don't know why i wanted to look at him. I wanted to see his reaction. I slowly lifted my eyes and my heartbeat stopped. He was already looking at me.
