Chapter 66

Ariana's POV.

He marched out in anger and I followed him. I saw him going towards the car.

"Alaric" I saw him going in and he immediately left. The way he was roughly driving the car I was scared for him.

"Where did he go?" I shook my head when mom asked me.

I fell on the floor with tears. All of this happened because of me.

He was so broken,his eyes were glistening with tears. I wanted to hug him, console him. I hope he's fine.

Till now I didn't even knew that Robert is his father. He hates him so much.

I waited for him for hours. Dad and everyone was looking for him.

Suddenly I realised something. I know where he would be right now.

"Mom ,dad I'll be back." I was going out when they asked me where I'm going.

"I'll tell you everything when I'll come back." I hurriedly sat inside the car and drove towards my destination.

My heart was pounding inside my chest cavity. I stopped infront of the graveyard.

I came out and entered inside the graveyard and looked for him everywhere. Finally my eyes stopped at a manly figure and I heaved. I gulped down and stride towards him. He was sitting on his knees infront of a grave.

I took steps towards him and read the name.

Alice White.

I kept my hand on his shoulder but he didn't turned. His body tensed under my touch. I sat down beside him helding his forearm.

I knew he must be missing his mother.

It started pouring and despite the rain I can see his tears.

I held his face and wiped his tears. I sat with him and let him feel whatever he was feeling right now. I wanted it all to come out of him. Be it his hatred for his father or love for his mother.

After half an hour I pulled him in a hug.

"Everything will be okay." I looked at his face and saw how broken and hurt he was.

"Let's go home." I squeezed his palm, he clenched his eyes closed and shook his head.

"It's raining. The weather seems so bad..." The cloud thunder and I shivered,"Please Ric..." He stood up slowly without a word and began to walk. I saw how lost he is today.

Derek's words affected him a lot. He crossed his limits today. He shouldn't have said all those words to him.

After a couple of minutes the rain stopped and darkness spread all over. The moon was the only thing that was shining bright and stars twinkling in the sky.

His phone began to ring when we sat inside the car.

I picked it up,"Where are you both?" It was Mom. I told her that we are in the car right now and he is fine. He came to graveyard to see his mother.

She sounded worried.

"Aana please take care of him."

"Don't worry mom, I'll take care of him." I hanged up.

I started driving and after some couple of minutes I stopped the car. He looked at me when he noticed that we stopped infront of the treehouse.Treehouse of Aunt Elena.

I cannot take him home. He'll get more disturbed. Derek will be around and God knows if he start blabbering bullshit again. It will make him more upset.
