Ariana's POV.

I was making the knot of my tie when mom came.

"Why are you going to college? You are not well." She kept the milk aside she bought for me and her face fell down  when she saw me wearing the uniform.

"Mom I'm very much fine now." I pulled my tie in a knot and she turned me towards herself. She made me sit on the edge of the bed and applied some ointment on my forehead.

"I can see that." She saw my face and covered it with a bandage. She asked me not to go to college but I didn't wanted to stay at home and think of Alaric all the fucking time.

He had been in my mind all night. I couldn't sleep because of him. I was waiting for him to come. It's been days I haven't seen him. I was missing his touch. But he didn't came.

She was fed up and heaved. She made me sit and took a comb in her hands. She combed my hairs. I turned my head when I felt her parting my hairs into section.

"Mom..." I hissed and she continued to braid my hairs. I scoffed looking at my long braided hair,"braid doesn't go with this uniform." She glared at me and give me medicine.

"Shut up." I gulped it down with water and she cupped my face,"I'll drop you to the college today." I looked at her in surprise. Why is she treating me like a kid? For God sake why everyone is!

Yesterday he yelled at me for not behaving mature enough and now she's dropping me school as if I'm in kindergarten.

"I'm not a kid? I can go of my own." I stood up and kept my books in the bag as per the schedule. I zipped it up,"You're a kid for me."

She followed me and i looked at her with my puppy eyes,"please mom."

"I will come with you no matter what." She left no room for discussion.

We sat on the breakfast table and my eyes stopped at Rodrigo.

He was staring at me. I thought to ignore but mom's voice caught my attention,"Rodrigo enough now. You've already crossed your limits so far. If you said or did anything to her it won't take much time for me to inform Ric. I'll even file a complaint against you for physical violence. And I'm not threatening this time." She warned pointing his fingers towards him. He badly wanted to argue but he chose to keep quiet.

He started eating his breakfast and when grandma saw that she argued with her beloved son her tongue began to itch. She couldn't hold back and spat.

"How dare you talk to him like that? He's your husband. You should respect him." Grandma snarled at mom with anger and mom folded her hands on her chest.

"Two days ago when my daughter went to meet her husband you called her names and now you want me to respect my husband cause he's your son!" She spat and grandma exchanged glances with Rodrigo.

She clenched her teeth and looked down unable to say anything. She knew she can't say anything to defend herself. That day she crossed her limits. I can't believe she called me...for meeting with my own husband.

I finished my breakfast and stood up.

We sat inside the car and i did my seatbelt.

"This old women is too much. She's one step ahead of Rodrigo." She murmured angrily.

"What do you expect she's his mother afterall." I rolled my eyes And she started driving.

She dropped me to college.

"Take care of yourself." I nodded she kissed my cheeks and i entered inside the gate.

My eyes fell on Alaric and Belle. Belle ran towards me,"Good morning Aana." I looked at him and then greeted her,"morning."
