was his ego finally gone‽

The smallest of accomplishments rises his mental state into a frenzy of happiness. He began to think , no feel , like his luck was finally changing again , in his direction. He finally felt like a little bit of the universe at least felt for him and gave him a helping hand. He was in need of something that many others too needed in their life. A small set of wins just big enough to keep him humble , yet motivated and entertained in life. He took any win he could , but now not with a grain of salt , but instead a cube of sugar. Feeling blessed was all he really needed. Not cocky , nor yet confident. Just blessed. He felt at ease in this moment. And thankful eternally for what he had in this moment in time and life. Although he was riding on a upper , he felt like the fall wouldn't be as painful this time. So instead of worrying of the future , he finally decided to enjoy the ride. Enjoy the journey , before he met his destination. For he had many places he wanted to visit. Both figuratively,  and literally.
