Everything Jungkook liked about Jimin, flourished at that moment and he just couldn't lay there to wait. However, he knew doing this would only make things worst… But, he also thought things would change for the better. Thinking of kissing Jimin for that split second, made the boy realize he was changing deep inside. This didn't come out as a random desire, it was an awakening to Jungkook now. Those small feelings Jungkook had for the older, seemed to grow yet, he couldn't help but to feel like he was a little desperate. Alas, he couldn't hurt Jimin like this. Especially since he was at break with Lee-Young.

“The… stars… Oh I've… forgotten how… wondrous… they could be…” Jimin whispered to himself and smiled happily while looking at the stars, no longer hiding his eyes from it now. “They're… beautiful…tonight..” Jimin whispered and looked back to catch Jungkook only staring at him with a silent gaze that even showed how hard he was thinking over the situation in his head. He didn't want to hurt Jimin, kiss him and confuse him. So, Jungkook’s eyes met with the full moon as Jimin glanced away with his cheeks blushing red.

“I can't kiss him… He's not mine.” Jungkook said into his his own mind while staring at the full moon above them. “I don't think he's mine at all… I want him… I never knew how bad I wanted someone. But, out of all the other girls waiting for me, why is Jimin the one I run to?” Jungkook spoke out of confusion in his head as he kept his stare at Jimin. The older was smiling and giggling slightly into the calm stare they had going on. The back of Jungkook’s mind just begged him to kiss Jimin, but then again, it was too soon. There was no shooting star to grant him that wish and he just knew it wasn't right for him to make that move. As much as he wanted to kiss those soft, plump and pink lips, it was too soon and doing so could hurt the friendship they had now. Jungkook just couldn't take any chances and risk losing Jimin like this.

“Staring...at me...Mr. Jeon?” Jimin asked into a soft giggle and that alone brought Jungkook back into reality. “The stars… are up… there…”

“I'm well aware.” Jungkook whispered as he unexpectedly moved in and made a smile to hug Jimin in his arms.

“A-Ah..Mr… Jeon, you're so… touchy today…” Jimin whispered in the arms of his caretaker. Throughout the hug, Jimin blushed and focused on the younger’s soft breathing like always. The stars were up above them, but Jimin's eyes fixed onto the boy right by his side. It was still and silent for them while the soft and gentle music still echoed from Jungkook's living room.

“I hope you don't mind…” Jungkook whispered to the older and held him close while their eyes fixed onto the bits of white stars shining down on them. Jungkook just knew this wasn't meant to be but he held Jimin close like he wanted him from the start. “You'll be able to… sleep in your own room tonight… Right?”

“If you want… me…to..” Jimin replied and allowed the gentle hug from Jungkook to please his small feelings that only seemed to feed off more from this interaction. “I don't mind…”

“I think it will be such a big step, Jimin. If you can't pull through the night, you can always come to my room. I'll keep you safe.” Jungkook whispered and this made Jimin turn completely red and his face was hot due to how gentle Jungkook's voice was against his sensitive ear. It was the only sound Jimin allowed no matter how loud his caretaker could be. “Have you… Ever read about The Little Prince?” Jungkook asked and held Jimin against his body as their eyes then united with each other.

“The… Little… Prince?” Jimin asked the younger and waited to be answered.

“The Prince that fell in love with a rose… It's a lovely story. I have the book translated from French to Hangul if you want to read it.” Mentioned the younger as Jimin softly began to giggle.
