Jungkook then answered the phone as Jimin patiently waited for his lover over on the couch. Of course, Jimin didn't want anything to do with his father after their little fight earlier, so Jimin was completely silent once Jungkook answered the phone; softly panting and breathing to himself after the heated make-out session he had with his stargazer.

“I wonder what that man wants now…” Jimin whispered to himself and locked his eyes onto Jungkook holding the phone up against his own ear to answer. “He'll probably talk Jungkook into working and leaving me here so I can learn my lesson…. I won't be surprised. Father only wants to prove a point…” Jimin said into his own head and then, Jungkook smiled and greeted the elder on the other side of the phone.

“Hello, Mr. Park! How are you? How's everything at the facility?” Asked the young astronomer and at that moment, he noticed Jimin's father reply into a serious tone.

“Jungkook… I need you to listen to me carefully…” Mr. Park said and this alone shifted a change into Jungkook's face. “Please, if Jimin is around… I want you to leave the room so we can talk privately.”

“Yes, Mr. Park.” Jungkook answered and muted the call for a second to glance back at his Jimin. “Mochi, I'll be right back. Stay there.” Jungkook told Jimin and unmuted the call while he made his way down the hall to his own room and locked himself in. With such things feeling so off in Jimin's mind, it made the older sit up and watch the door at the end of the hall close shut and remain locked with Jungkook inside.

“Is it a secret?” Jimin whispered in confusion. Jimin didn't like the fact that Jungkook went off to have a personal conversation with the elder. Even if Jimin didn't end things so well with his father, he still wanted to know. “Will Jungkook tell me?” Asked Jimin before standing up and slowly approaching his own room to reach the bathroom shared in between their own rooms. Next, Jimin pressed his head against Jungkook's bedroom door and began to listen from the bathroom.

“What's the matter, Mr. Park?” Asked the young man and Jimin happened to listen to every word spoken from Jungkook’s mouth, clearly.

“Jungkook… They want to send Jimin back to space… Turns out, he altered the engine of the B248 multiple times when he was trapped there and no one knows how to fix the B248. The Chief even wants to send him off and nobody else. I'm so worried… Everyone here is trying to think of ways Jimin tampered with the engine of the rocket.” Mr. Park told Jungkook and with every word, Jungkook grew silent as if each sentence the elder uttered was tape against the younger’s mouth to keep him shut.

“No… No they can't… I don't want him to go through it again… Please… if anything, let me go. I don't want him to suffer! If he goes up there… I can never forgive myself. It was so hard to build him up and heal him…” Jungkook spoke into the phone as Jimin listened to it all in disbelief.

“They… Want to send me back?” Jimin thought in his own head as his heart weighed down by a ton. “They can't do this to me…they just can't do it! I-I don't want to do this...” Panicked the older within his own mind before he could listen for further information from Jungkook. “But out of everything… I don't want my Jungkook to go…”

“Jungkook, sacrificing yourself like this could leave you as bad as Jimin when he arrived. You've never been up there and what are the odds the B248 cannot be fixed? Going to space isn't as easy as travelling to a different country.” Mr. Park told Jungkook, but the younger grew careless and kept the thought of protecting Jimin as his main priority. “I know… You love him… But doing this could put yourself at risk.”
