Encounter At The Registration Desk

(Utsukushī no Lily's POV)

I had to find a desolate spot to kill those two men, so it took a while to find the Hunters Union. While I was walking toward the Union, many people stared at me, which I ignored.

When I entered the Hunters Union, the inside of the Hunters Union was 50 meters wide by 3 meters in height from floor to ceiling. There was the receptionist's desk in view once you walked in, with guests on the right side of the room where ten people were. On the left side of the room was the quest board with some people around it.

I walked to the reception desk, while everyone noticed and started staring at me with either lust or jealousy.

There was a fox-girl at the receptionist's desk who started looking in my direction with love every once in a while. I ignored it and went to the reception desk.

The receptionist was a cat-girl with below average height and an hourglass figure, a flat chest, white cat ears with black hair going down to below her shoulders. She had a delicate face with bright golden-colored eyes.

"My name is Solra, how may I help you today nya" the cat-girl asked.

"I would like to sign up for a hunter's license". It is said in a sweet but kind voice.

"OK, please set your hand on this magic equipment which will see if you have registered as a Hunter or Vampire Slayer before, and also to see if you have a criminal record nya". Solra said with a smile.

I put my hand on the magic equipment thinking it could possibly figure out I am Tadashi Akira, but my worries didn't happen since I had a different magic aura then when I was human.

"Since you weren't registered as a hunter or Vampire Slayer, we can register you now nya". Solra said.

She grabbed a blank card and asked me to infuse some of my mana into it.

"What is your name and race nya ". Solra asked.

"My name is Lily and my race is human" I said with a smile.

I decided to use the name lily, since if I used my full name I would get hunted down by all the humans and I used the human race since I am currently disguised as one.

She then wrote down my name, race, and hunter rank, which was Bronze, since all hunters start off with an Bronze Tier. After she finished, she then handed the card to me.

"Thanks". I said with a smile.

She couldn't hold it back anymore and blushed, which everyone saw, since they were looking in my direction.

"No problem". Solra said.

After I got my card, I was about to leave when the woman standing next to me grabbed my hand and held me in her embrace.

"Can I be partners with you" she said while blushing.

I was trying to figure out what was happening and blushed after realizing what happened. I tried to escape from her embrace but couldn't since I had a decrease in my basic stats from using the human disguise skill.

"No thanks" I said, still trying to escape her embrace.

"I won't let you out of my embrace until you at least let me live with you". She said with a serious expression.

"You can live with me, but you can't be my partner since I hunt alone". I said with a cold expression.

She then let me go after kissing me, which made me freak out, but I couldn't resist since my current strength was too weak.

"What's your name, since you already know my name from my conversation with the receptionist?" I asked.

"My name is Kasumi". She said with a blush.

We then left the Hunters Union, while every hunter who was watching us was shocked and disappointed, since someone had already taken me away.

"Do you know where any women's clothing shops are?" I asked.

"Yes I do, do you want to buy some clothes?" Kasumi said.

"Yes, I want to buy some knee-high dresses". I said.

"There is a shop called Frozen Star, which sells enhanced women's clothing". Kasumi said.

Enhanced clothing allows you to have a magic effect on it. You can add magical resistance and other daily skills such as clean, which keeps your clothes clean all the time.

"OK, let's go there". I said with a smile.

She led me to the shop, which took 5 mins. After entering the shop, it was 15 meters in width by 20 meters in length with light magic keeping the room lit. I saw rows of different varieties of clothes and a customized table where you could customize the clothing you wanted.

"My name is Neia. Would you like to customize the clothing that you will be buying?" Asked the woman at the customization table.

"Yes, I want to buy 5 custom knee-high dresses with regenerative materials and clean ability". I said.

Regenerative material allows the clothing to regenerate back to perfect condition in a short time if your clothing is damaged.

"OK, we will have the materials in 2 days, but you'll need to bring the main clothing material". Neia said with a smile.

"Thanks" I said while trying really hard to act like a human.

We left the shop and headed to the east side of town to find a place to stay the night.

"I own a house which we can live in together". Kasumi said.

"I have no where to stay since I recently came to this city, so I guess we can live in your house". I said with a cold expression.

" You know even if you put up a cold expression, you still look cute". Kasumi said while blushing.

After hearing her call me cute, it made me blush, which then made me infuriated over being called cute twice now and blushing after losing my manhood and becoming the vampire princess.

Kasumi knew she hit my nerve, but she still thought my reaction was cute, since every action I do is cute to her.

We eventually made it to Kasumi's house. On the way, I kept thinking about why this had to happen to me and what went wrong during my 19 years of living to cause this to happen to me.

I couldn't find an answer, so all I had to do was accept my fate and continue moving forward without looking back, which caused my mood to go back to normal.

The house was not as big as the Tadashi Manson, but it was big enough for two people to fit without any problem, so it was easy to get settled in.

"Can you take me on a tour around the city". I asked.

"Sure" Kasumi said with a smile.

We walked through the city seeing many people passing by us, stalls, shops, and kids running around playing with each other. Overall, it was a very peaceful city.

After walking through the entire city, it was now getting dark, so we headed back to Kasumi's house.

When we got back, it was dark, but I didn't mind, since I liked the dark better than the day.

"Can we sleep in the same bed" Kasumi asked with a pleading expression.

"I am willing to live with you, but I will never sleep with you". I said coldly, which froze the air particles from my aura I released.

She sensed my aura and felt shivers go down her spine and cold sweat go down her face.

She thought how could this young girl have such a terrifying aura, but after a while of thinking she became happier about her decision to live with this woman.

I chose to release my aura because otherwise she would probably try to sleep in bed with me if I didn't.

Afterwards, I went to bed without any disturbance from Kasumi trying to sleep with me, which made me glad.
