Mysterious Box

Kasumi had a smile on her face as she finished the meal.

"Thanks, it was good. Do you want to go monster hunting with me?" Kasumi said as we were kissing and each of us had an arm around the other's waist.

"No, I'm staying. I want to check the chaos I can sense coming from my space storage." I smiled as I spoke as we parted ways.

"Okay, I'll be back in a couple hours." Kasumi gave me one more kiss before we parted ways and she exited the room.

Shortly after, I left the room and went into a training room so I could take out what I had found and sensed in my storage space out with a lower risk of damaging the house since the walls in the training room had a greater defense than those in the other rooms.

I took a seat in the center of the training room, the farthest from the walls, and reached into my space storage to pull out a box slightly larger than a man's fist.

The box was black with a silver rim, but what really attracted my attention was the chaotic energy emanating from it and a note that was attached to the box.

"Utsukush no Lilly, I'm the World Spirit, Elvira, and I'm writing to you for two reasons: the first is to ask you to refrain from using the Solar Void Bombs again, and the second is regarding the reward in the box, which the Creation Goddess made me give to you and forced me to carry you back to your mansion. In order to find out what it is, open the box in a secure location (a training room should do the trick), Bye-bye."

"So she was the one who brought me here. However, why would the Creation Goddess force her to give me this box, write this note, and bring me here? Perhaps I have a relationship with the Creation Goddess rather than Elvira, the World Spirit, making her incapable of killing me even if I were to destroy a portion of her." I thought with a smile.

When I opened the box, a rush of black and silver energy knocked me to the ground as it enveloped me and began to force its way into my mouth, nose, ears, and eyes.

"It hurts, it hurts." I tried to resist it, but I couldn't prevent it from entering my body, as I shouted in pain.

I felt it enter my body and it seemed to be much stronger than my chaotic mana as the black silver energy ravaged my insides and inflicted excruciating pain.

My physique was changing in certain places, but it remained the same in most others. But, those changes were quickly finished as the black sliver energy drilled a smalll hole in my veins to enter.

"Augghhhhh."

I shouted out in agony as the energy pushed through my veins, straining my veins since the amount of energy coming in was too much for them, and causing tears that immediately regenerated and proceeded to flow.

"Auuggghhhhhhh."

The energy quickly entered my heart as if it were blood and appeared to alter it as the agony grew by 10, placing me on the verge of passing out as I was only hanging on by a thread.

"Auhhhhh...."

I didn't feel anything as a pool of blood formed beneath me as the agonizing pain in my body and mind led me to quickly lose consciousness.

A woman sat in a chair in a room that was all white, her palm resting on the armrest. If Lily were here, she would recognize her as the woman from her dreams.

"I'm sorry Lily, but this is the quickest method to make you stronger so you can defeat her." She apologized profusely for having to subject Lily to further suffering.
