Kasumi finished both meals swiftly, and we left the restaurant to return to our house, since Kasumi wanted to put the ingredients in the fridge, which is akin to a space storage as time does not run through it, so it can be used to keep any food without the risk of spoilage.

The second reason is that the auction doesn't start until tonight, so there won't be much to do for the next six hours or so.

We arrived at our house shortly after, and Kasumi went straight to the kitchen to begin storing the ingredients.

Since Kasumi didn't require help and we were only waiting for the auction, I went back into my room and chose to meditate once more.

"I need a method that allows me to upgrade my other attunements, but I don't want to slow down my meditation speed for chaos attunements." I pondered this while I sat in the middle of my bed, my index finger pressed against my chin.

"Change inducement should succeed, but it will place a strain on my mind, which is the quickest way to train your mind by straining it and having it continuously healed time and time again; the only thing I'm concerned about are the world's rejections." I thought as got myself into a meditative position before closing my eyes and entering my mana realm.

I didn't go to an island after entering my mana realm; instead, I traveled to the center of the 12 attunements and constructed a small platform using [Change Inducement], then sat on it in a meditative position.

"I need to link the 12 islands, but I don't want them to interact negatively, thus I need to keep them separate." I thought as I began to circulate my mana.

I activated [Change Inducement] and increased the rate of mana coming into my body whilst also constructing mana links for the mana to link to all 12 islands, but I made sure to give Chaos Attunement four times more mana as it was the most difficult to upgrade and also the strongest attunement I have.

"Mnnngh." I groaned in pain, but held it in, while keeping my concentration.

...

Soon, mana links connecting all 12 islands were constructed, so I attempted circulating my mana, which I felt travel through the newly formed mana links, strengthening them as it traveled without difficulty to my attunements.

"Change Inducement may have a painful drawback, but it's one of the most powerful skills, enabling you to change anything as long as your mind can withstand it." I thought with a smile on my face.

I started meditating while my mana flowed through the mana links to the 12 islands, gradually expanding them as the terrain on each island developed.

...

6 hours later, the stopped meditating and check all my attunements to see how much they progressed.

I exited my mana realm after checking my attunements and found myself on my bed, that was soaked in sweat, so I removed the bed sheet and washed it with water magic before drying it with fire magic and placed it back onto my bed.

I straightened my hair and dressed before leaving my room, only to find Kasumi waiting for me with a sweet smile on her face.

"Ready?" Kasumi inquired as I walked out of my room.

"Yeah." I responded, smiling as I nodded.

"All right, then, let's go." Kasumi took my hand and we walked out of the house shortly after.

Since the auction house was close by, we left our residence and walked to the Hunters Union.

"With such a large auction, there are certain to be robberies and chaos after the auction." Kasumi said through telepathy.

"What makes you think there will be robberies and chaos after the auction?" I inquired because I had never attended an auction before.

"Well, many people who wanted item and couldn't get it at an auction when someone else bid higher than they could, will try to rob the buyer." Kasumi said with a smile.

"The amount of currency you have determines where you sit, and I have 800 gold, 7 silver, and 460 bronze, how much do you have?" Kasumi asked with a focused gaze.

"I have Balance: 1 Platinum, 410 Gold, 760, Silver, 0 Bronze." I said with a smile.

"How did you get Platinum so quickly, even though I've been looking for a long time?" Kasumi said with a pout of envy on her face.

"When I was human, I killed thousands of monsters in a dungeon with wyverns, therefore I'd naturally collect more money than one without." I said, a tiny grin on my face.

"Oh, that makes sense; I'm glad it wasn't because you used to be a noble human." Kasumi remarked, her face now filled with comprehension.

"I wasn't like that; I didn't regard commoners as inferiors, but rather as equals." I said with a sincere smile on my face.

"That's good, but some nobility still believe they are superior to commoners." Kasumi said, frowning.

"True." I said with a smile.

It was finally our turn after a long wait in line, so we approached the two people at the auction house's gate.

"Place your hand on the magic terminal." The woman standing next to the guard stated with a smile.

I pressed my hand against the magical terminal, which displayed a one-sided screen that only the woman and the guard could view.

"Shia, take these two ladies to room 4, second floor, VIP room." The woman said as a woman who seemed to be a maid bowed.

The people in the line behind us all gasped in astonishment, as they hadn't expected anyone to be granted access to the VIP Room.

"Right away." The maid bowed and gestured for us to follow which we did.

We soon arrived at the VIP section and strolled down the corridor till we came across a small sign that read [VIP Room 4] and entered it.
