After we left the boutique, it was now five in the afternoon. Kasumi grabbed my hand and began leading us southwest, which made me confused, but I just followed along.

"Where are we going?" I asked with a curious expression.

"It's a secret, you'll find out when we arrive". Kasumi said while putting her index finger over her mouth.

"Fine". I said, while following her.

"You look so beautiful". Kasumi said with a blush, while looking at me.

"Thanks". I said, with my face becoming flushed.

On our way there, some groups of men seemed to want to talk to us, but once they saw us holding hands they sighed, showing their dissatisfaction with two beauties being wasted.

"These men are so stingy, always thinking a beautiful woman should only be in love with men". Kasumi spoke loud enough for them to hear, which they responded with glares of hostility.

They were thinking about making a move on us, but decided against that from the pressure radiating off of Kasumi and I, but their eyes were still filled with hostility, just not as much to be noticed by any normal person.

"That's true". I said with a cold and disgusted expression.

"Forget about them, if they cause any trouble later, we can deal with them then". Kasumi said while we sped up our pace a little bit.

...

Soon we came upon a Japanese inn that was two stories with a neatly tiled roof that gave it a traditional Japanese look. There were paper lanterns that were hung from the roof. Lastly, there was a sign with bold words saying:

[The Blue Moon]

We opened the sliding door and entered. What we found was a gray stone floor with a wooden step onto a raised tatami floor which covered the entirety of the lobby. There was a refreshing, tranquil scent in the air, giving you a calm and relaxed feeling.

The lobby was illuminated by soft orange lights that were arranged near the entrance and corridors.

We then took off our shoes and put on some indoor slippers that were prepared for guests before making our way to the reception desk.

"Welcome to The Blue Moon Inn. Will you be staying a night or will you be staying the evening?" The woman at the reception desk asked with a polite bow and soft smile.

The woman had a slender figure, black eyes, and black hair. She went down to her back, she wore an exquisite traditional Japanese kimono that was red and white with golden edges.

"We will be staying the night". Kasumi said with a smile.

"OK, will you be sharing a room or do you want separate rooms?" The woman asked with a polite expression.

"We'll be sharing a room". Kasumi said with a wistful but happy expression.

"I'll need to see your Registration Card, so we can see if you have criminal records. The inn's policy asks us to check them to avoid trouble if possible". The woman asked with a sincere smile.

We then handed her our Hunter registration cards, which she scanned the database for any criminal records before handing us back our cards.

"That'll be one hundred silver for the regular service, but if you'd like the special service, then it'll be one hundred and fifty silver. In the special service, we will deliver the food to you personally and you'll also receive some special benefits that you won't be able to get if you choose the regular service". The woman said with a smile.

"We'd like a special one". Kasumi said while handing the one hundred and fifty silver coins to the receptionist.

You must provide us the key if you leave the premises; however, if you return, you will be handed the key back. Thank you for your patronage. Enjoy your stay; that waitress will show you to your room and assist you with any needs you may have." The woman expressed her gratitude by kneeling and then rising with the same warm smile as before.

I'll lead you two to your room". A woman said from behind his

The woman with cat ears and a cat tail which appeared from behind her back. She wore a Japanese waitress outfit.

"Thanks". I said with a smile.

"There's no need to thank me". The woman said while picking up our shoes and putting them in a small locker, and locked it.

"This is where the guest's shoes are held, the locker key is the same one as the key to your room, so when you leave make sure to take your shoes and return the key back to the reception desk". The waitress said, which we responded with a nod.

We walked through the beautiful corridors for a bit, before stopping in front of a room which was located on the top floor. She put the key into the lock on the wooden sliding door before unlocking and opening it.

"Please take off your slippers before entering the room on the stone floor next to you". The woman said with a smile.

The room was around 10 tatami mats in size with an elaborate wooden table in the middle of the room which held Japanese sweets that were arranged with care. There were a few tatami chairs of gray color, and on the walls, there were gorgeous paintings of scenery.

"Would you like to have dinner now". The woman asked with a smile.

"I feel tired, so I'd like to freshen up. Does this place have a bath?" Kasumi asked with a tired but curious expression.

They hadn't been able to take proper baths in days with the events happening which began to build up exhaustion, so they decided to take a bath before doing anything else.

"All the rooms have a private bath, but I would recommend visiting our public hot spring, which we consider as the highlight of our inn". The woman said with a sincere expression.

She opened a cabinet, which contained towels, soap and other necessary supplies needed for a bath.

"A hot spring sounds good". Kasumi said with a slightly impatient expression.

"Feel free to use any of these items when visiting the hot spring. I can guide you there if you wish". The woman replied while closing the cabinet.

"Lead the way please". Kasumi replied, following the woman out of the room.

"This is the key to your room and shoe locker, so make sure you don't lose it". The woman said while handing us the key, which Kasumi gave to me, since I could use space storage.

I put it in a small pocket dimension in my space storage so it wouldn't get lost with the other things inside it.

We then followed the woman through the lonely but beautiful corridors once again.
