Kasumi's Past (8): Start of The Extermination

A few hours later, Ozara woke up and entered the assembly hall with hatred towards Feronia, but I did feel some hatred towards me, which didn't surprise me much.

"Ozara, we don't have time for you to deal with your grudges right now, so once we're done with the extermination you can deal with them".

"As for you, Feronia, don't mess around until this extermination is over". Fenriru Goro said with a domineering aura.

"Fine, I'll set aside my hatred to exterminate the threat". Ozara said while calming himself down.

"Good, now for you Feronia". Fenriru Goro asked with a serious expression.

"Fine, I'll stop picking on him". Feronia pouted, but changed once she thought about what she would do after the extermination.

"Good then let's begin our attack". Fenriru Goro while teleportation out of the room.

Soon, the remaining people in the assembly hall followed after and appeared in the air roughly 100 meters away from the new monster and demon's territory.

"Feronia, you'll be supporting us from above, While we will attack them head on like we always did". Fenriru Goro said with a smile.

"This will be fun". Feronia said with a happy expression.

"Kiyomi, use your Fox-Fire Magic to attack first, since it is the most destructive out of all the magics we have". Fenriru Goro said while giving me a glance.

I nodded once he glanced at me, and began by constructing a magic circle. The magic circle was light and dark blue with some white. It had 7 rings with runes for each ring, which showed it was in the High Master Tier.

The spell began to expand. Once it was done expanding, it covered half of the monsters and demons' territory and began radiating heat from the spell, which drastically changed the temperature of the area where the magic circle was located.

As soon as the magic circle was done, it shot a pillar of fire which disintegrated everything in its path without much resistance.

As soon as the sky cleared up, there was now a hole which replaced the monsters and demons, but not all of them died, since barriers were created out of ice, fire, wind, and water which either stopped the fire from reaching them or put out the fire.

Even with that barrier, they still suffered casualties which could not have been avoided no matter what they did.

"A little disappointing, but I guess that'll do since their resistance is top notch". I said with a smile.

"You call that disappointing, but you killed a decent chunk of them even though you're not supposed to be able to kill this many at once with a single attack because of their resistance". Fenriru Goro said with a surprised expression which was similar to everyone else's.

"True, but it is still disappointing". I said while pouting.

"Even though you killed many of them, you should still underestimate them". Fenriru Goro said with a serious expression.

"I know, but I think we should get back to killing them". I said while looking at them casting magic which was about to shoot at us.

"We'll start assassinating them". Neko Qadir said while disappearing from his spot with Neko Folra, his wife.

Soon, monsters and demons began dropping down like flies with dagger slashes and stabs appearing where their vitals and weaknesses were, but the monsters and demons were still not dying fast enough, with the assassin duo needing 3-5 slashes or stabs to kill one monster and demon.

Soon everyone was now on the battlefield, with the ground being broken apart by each attack by both sides, but the monsters and demons seemed to never end with their tenacious vitality and high resistance keeping them alive longer than they should.

I summoned my two razor katanas, which was a curved single-edged blade that was mostly black with a strip of blue running alongside the blade, a circular-shaped guard which was black with the grip being black and gold.

I then infused my katanas with Fox-Fire magic, which constructed magic circles along the flat side of the katana.

The katana began to radiate Fox-Fire, which surrounded the Blade. As soon as it was done, I bolted towards the closest enemy appearing in front of him before he could react and slashed at him with my katana.

*Pfff!!

The humanoid demon was soon cut into pieces and spat out blood, which was on fire. It kept on burning the leftover pieces of flesh until there was no more, then extinguished itself once it had nothing more to feed off of.

Kiyomi continued slashing at every opponent in her sight. Every opponent she ran into was cannon fodder, which was used to slow us down, so she easily disintegrated them within seconds, since they were all Low-High Expert Tier, which was compared to ants in front of her.

She sensed multiple dangerous auras in the middle of the monster and demon territory, which they guess must be the leaders of this invasion of our kingdom.

She continued to slash through the army of monsters and demons with the other families as they were slaughtering the cannon fodder in quick succession.

Soon the enemies we were facing became harder to kill in one slash, so we became soon surrounded on all sides, but they still couldn't do much damage to us, since they were still weak against us, even with their greater tenacity and resistance to the elements.

The assassin duo constantly disappeared and reappeared across the battlefield with each teleportation leading to killing more and more monsters and demons. As for the other families, they used their own methods, with the Feniru Family using lightning magic, the Kuma Family using Earth Magic, the Usagi Family, which used Lunar Magic, but was weakened during the day, the Māmeido Family used Water Magic and the Harimogura Family used Shadow Magic.

Each family used the magic they are most proficient in, which further increased the power output of their attacks, while leaving no corpse fully intact behind them as they rampage through the army.
