With permission from Commander Erwin Smith of the Survey Corps, Arden and Kain Croix set out for the interior: Wall Sina. As the siblings were visiting Daine without his direct knowledge, they wouldn't be meeting in the Scout HQ in Trost District like Arden had previously done. This time, they were going to spontaneously visit him at his personal residence behind Wall Sina, like how the siblings used to do when they first met Drystan Daine about 10 years ago.

The siblings set off immediately, having to stop for a routine checkup when passing through the gate. Ofcourse the stationed Military Police sneered at the two Scouts wishing to enter the Capital alone. But one blank expression and crazed stare from the Croix siblings was enought to send shivers down the MP's spines, causing them to gulp as two sets of blood red eyes passed into the territory of Wall Sina.

Arden and Kain carried on, this time at a slower pace as they moved through the capital city, cantering their horses. After a while, they reached an overly large and dramatic mansion, walls made from the finest of white brick, pillars with intricate detailing carved carefully in them. Two giant, dark wood doors that sat in the center of the building, just after an overly posh garden. The whole mansion, though beautiful, was too grand and surreal a building compared to the old, rickety stone buildings of Wall Rose, Wall Maria and the outlier Districts.

It wasn't often that the siblings came to Wall Sina, though the Elite Squad had been occasionally invited to entertain the nobles in their homes when they were still soldiers of the Garrison Regiment. Yet Arden hated being here, it just reminded her of the comfortable life a select few get to live whilst the rest of humanity suffer in poor conditions, the results of a biased democracy.

Half way through the unnecessarily long and extravagant garden, a grey haired man appeared in a sleek black suit, walking towards the siblings as another younger man approached their horses.

"Master Daine is waiting for you." The older man said. Hmm, the head butler. Arden thought, remembering the man greeting her everytime that she visited prior.

The younger man took the reigns of the horses, turning to lead them to the stables where they would stay whilst the siblings were at the Manor. "Hey." Kain called to the stable boy, causing him to turn around. "If anything happens to our horses, anything... I'll just have to make sure I slowly and painfully remove your hands." Kain warned threateningly, flashing the now terrified man a wicked smile, a single unnaturally sharp canine poking over his lip. The stable boy gulped before swiftly turning around and fleeing with the horses.

Smugly, Kain turned back to the unfazed butler and his expressionless sister, wiggling his eyebrows at her. "Ow! What the fuck?!" He cursed and rubbed the tender spot on his head from where Arden had just slapped him.

"Stop threatening everyone." She warned in her calm voice, giving her brother a meaningful look as she turned back to the butler, nodding her head as a signal for him to lead the way.

The butler did so, walking with an obedient yet distinguished aura as he led the two siblings through the mansion. Arden's blood red eyes observed the man, surprised to see that he still served Drystan. Drystan had a habit of killing humans on sight, most of whom worked for him as staff in his household. Ofcourse he was never caught, there was just many instances of staff disappearing from his household and turning up with unidentifiable wounds. Since there was no evidence to point to Daine as the murderer or to claim that he could make such animalistic wounds on a person, he was never questioned or caught.
