I stepped up to the front door of Tyler's house

I stepped up to the front door of Tyler's house. I had to pretend to be still mad with him. I sighed as I opened the door. The strong smell of alcohol hit me instantly. "Wow, now that is an old smell," I said as Tyler, Klaus, and Hayley turned to me.

"Dawn, what are you doing here?" Tyler asked me as I rolled my eyes.

"The only reason that I am here is that I need to get something from your room," I said as I went right to the stairs.

"Dawn, maybe we could talk about this?" Ty tried to reason with me.

"Talk about what, Ty?" I said as I turned to face him. "You broke Care's heart for some two-dollar hooker. What else is there to say?" I stated as I pointed to Hayley. "Unless she is pregnant, do not say a word to me," I said as I made my way upstairs.

"I don't understand why you are getting upset about this. You're not the one I cheated on." He yelled up to me.

"Go to hell, Tyler," I said as I stepped up to the balcony. I pretended to go into his room to find something, but instead, I watched from the railing as a knock came on the door. I leaned on the railing as Caroline stepped into the house with a box of Tyler's stuff.

"Brought your stuff. Old laptop, your jersey, the charm bracelet." She explained as she showed the box.

"Care, now really isn't a good time." He played off.

"Just take it." She pushed the box into his arms. I rolled my eyes at the fake drama. I love real drama better because at least it entertaining. Tyler turned and set the box down by the door.

"Caroline," Klaus said as he stepped into the room with concern. "By the break-up drama unfolding before me, I assume you've met Hayley." He said sadly. "And I'm guessing that Dawn hasn't forgiven you yet." He then turned to Ty. "All right, let's go. Your talents are needed elsewhere." He instructed the hybrids. They all stood up and walked out the door.

"For what?" Ty asked.

"I think you've got more important things to deal with, mate." He said as he walked out of the house, following after his hybrids.

We all waited a bit before speaking. "Do you think he bought it?" Care asked as I came down the stairs.

"Hell, I bought it," Hayley said as she turned to me. "I think Dawn put it over the top."

"Why, thank you, Hayley. Sorry about the hooker comment. But it worked." I said as I stood next to Hayley.

"No, hard feelings. It was solid." She said as she hooked her arm around my shoulders.

"Thanks for the heads up, Hayley." Care said as she stepped closer to Ty.

"You girls are good liars," Ty said as he turned to Care to kiss her. I rolled my eyes and pulled Hayley with me over to the drinks. No one wants to see them make out.
