Ch. 17 "Skill"

                                                          Hayden POV 

Everyone was quiet as they ate, I didn't particularly have a appetite, I guess used to limited food does that to a person, 

When your parents put a pad lock on the fridge and cabinets, to limit your food, I pushed the eggs around on the plate, 

"Come on shorty you have to eat," Sam said 

I looked at him 

"Who the hell are you calling shorty?" I said 

"Language!" Steve said 

I looked at Clint confused 

"Don't ask," He said 

"Just eat then we'll go train," Clint said 

I take two bites of toast 

"Okay done," I said running off, 

"You know I think she just moved faster than Pietro," I heard Tony say 

I ran to my room grabbing my bow and Arrows, and run to the training room, Clint was sitting near the wall patiently, 

"About time you showed up," Clint said 

"Hey we can't all carry our gear everywhere," I said 

He smirked 

"Okay lets make this a contest, If I win you have to agree to train with me and Nat," He said 

"Okay and if I win?" I asked 

"What do you want?" He asked 

I pondered on it for a while, 

"I help you take HYDRA down," I said 

He looked shocked and hesitated, 

"Alright deal," He said shaking my hand, 

"Prepare to lose," I said 

He chuckled 

"Alright lets see what you got hot shot," He said 

"With pleasure," I said 

I grabbed an arrow pulling it back, 

Bullseye, next, bullseye, bullseye, bullseye, bullseye, 

Clint looked at me shocked 

                                              Third Person POV 

Steve, Tony, Nat and Bucky were all watching the monitor in the training room, Tony leaned back in his chair, 

"Kid is good, not everyone can make perfect shots like that," Tony said 

"She's really good, we could use her," Steve said 

"But she doesn't want that, she made that perfectly clear," Bucky said 

Nat smirked at how Clint and Hayden were challenging each other, 

"I say we give it time, who knows maybe she'll warm up to the idea," Nat said with her arms crossed 

                                                  Hayden POV 

"So what happens when it's a tie?" I asked 

"You know I have no clue," He said rubbing the back of his neck, 

"Have to admit that no one has ever matched me before and I'm a trained assassin," Clint said 

"Well my code name is bullseye," I said making a fake gun with my fingers 

He chuckled 

"Okay you got me there," He said 

Not long Nat walked in, 

"Nice job kid, Clint I need your help with something, Hayden your welcome to explore the tower there is a lot to do here," Nat said 

"Hey don't worry about me, I already have something to keep me busy," I said hitting another bullseye, 

They both chuckled and left,

"Were are we going?" I asked 

"Fury needs us, he needs us to question her parents," Nat said with a glare
