Ch. 36 "Intruders"

                                             Hayden POV 

It has been a few days since my little incident, and let's just say Clint and Nat have been, how do I put this, Strict, 

I need to eat all three meals, train, and Sleep, they even have FRIDAY set if I as so much as Wake up in the middle of the night to inform them, 

It is a very odd thing, having all these people care, My parents haven't so much cared if I was even breathing so this is new to me, I thought 

Right now we are all in the main room, Tony is throwing one of his parties, 

Of course I'm not even allowed to have a sip of alcohol, 

I'm sitting with the twins and Peter, I some how convinced them to play me at poker, and lets just say I'm moping the floor with them, 

I lay my cards down, 

"Oh come on!" Peter said getting frustrated 

"What can I say I'm good," I said linking my hands behind my head, 

"Good? this is just mean," Pietro said 

I just chuckled 

"You know I have a feeling your hustling us," Peter said 

I smirked 

"What gave you that Idea?" I asked 

"Well gee I don't know you haven't lost a game and you said you never played before," Pietro said 

I just chuckled, 

I got up, 

"I'll give you guys a break you look like you could use it," I said 

"Ugh," Peter said slouching 

I walked over to the bar where Nat was I sat across from her, 

"I'm not giving you alcohol," She said 

"I wasn't even going to ask," I said 

"Good don't," She said smirking 

I just rolled my eyes, 

I sat there drinking a soda, and I felt her staring, 

"You do know it is rude to stare," I said 

"Says the girl who is always rude," She said smirking 

"Hey it's my only defense," I said 

She laughed,

"I was just going to say you look like you've been sleeping better," She said 

I nodded, 

"Yeah, who knew a better diet and training none stop would do that," I said sarcastically 

She burst out laughing, 

"Right who knew," She said chuckling 

As everyone in the party was having a good time, I was still sitting across from Nat, then suddenly alarms started blaring, 

"FRIDAY what is it?" Tony said 

"It seems, mrs Chase's parents have escaped and HYDRA forces are storming up the stairwell," Friday said 

Everyone froze 

Clint was right by me, don't know how he moves so damn fast, I thought 

"Hayden get out of here," Clint said 

"Like hell I am," I said 

"Now," He said sternly 

I rolled my eyes I grabbed a knife that was on the counter, just as the HYDRA agents burst through the door I threw the knife and it imbedded in the agent's shoulder making him fall to the ground, 

I knew one thing this night was about to get a whole lot more interesting, I thought smirking
