Once the pyramid shaped structure rose above the horizon, my eyes begged for more of it as I increased my pace toward the colossal palace that stood replesdent and extravagent on the slanted land.

My chest burned with exertion, the frized air forcing it's way into my mouth and nostrils before dragging itself out and fogging the air. I puffed out breath strenuously, my ears perking up when I heard the uneven footsteps and loud growls gaining on me.

As my legs approached the slanted land, the running seem more difficult than ever. The impenetrable fort stood magnificent under the sun, barbed with metallic wires as it restrict every invader from entering.

When I felt scorching breath on my nape, every single folicle stood up as  goosebumps paraded my cold skin.

I gripped my sword tightly before sliding it out from my shield, my breath heaving when I saw a huge shadow forming before it lurched, leaping over as I swiveled at the perfect time, impaling it directly in its soft abdomen in the air.

The growl it hissed out was more than just because of a mere damage, the blood gushed out in rapid flow, trickling it's way down to my sword and dampening my cold hand that suddenly felt hot with the warm blood.

I yanked back my sword immedaitely with a jerk, my body stumbling back before I gazed at it. The monster's white fur was dampened with its own blood, the slimy froth leaking out from his mouth when it winced while clutching it's abdomen.

If i was not tricked by my eyes, I could even see a little bit of its entrails that glimmered among the scarlet mess.

Horrified by the scene, I didn't see its jagged hands snagging my legs before it tugged on it, I yelped before falling down as we both rolled down the hill.

Knowing I wouldn't make it if I fell down on the hard rocky terrain waiting for me downwards, I quickly digged out my sword before swiftly puncturing it onto the ground I was currently rolling on. It luckily sticked their as I hung on it tightly for my precarious lifeline, before springing up.

I whipped my head backwards when I heard a thud, my body shivering when the monster growled at me,

'Why it is not dieing? ', I pondered deeply, my eyes widening when I see it picking itself up before growling my way as it bounded up the hill... toward me.
