A few stars are scattered about on the night sky outside the hospital, dim and not helping to light up the place much. The two people enter the roofed walkway connecting the main and auxiliary building on the first floor. Its tall fencing helps block the wind.

It is quite cold though, and the air still absolutely chilling, which actually helps Shen Chen clear up his mind some.

Too much has been happening these few hours, and his head is still aching slightly. He takes out a bag of cigarettes, removes two, handing one to Du You.

Shen Chen leans on the fence in the walkway, seemingly looking at the bush not far from him below.

“I’ve become strange recently, as if I have become schizophrenic. I would make a decision one second and suddenly overturn it the next.”

(Uploader: so you guys don't have to search up what schizophrenia or schizophrenic is I'll explain, don't mind my mediocre explanation cuz I'm bad at those anyways so, someone with schizophrenia has symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, they'd have trouble with thinking etc. Which is how Shen Shen is rn- well even back then he was quite delusional for thinking Du You likes him lololol)

Like, right after he said he wanted to break up with Xiao Tiantian, he decided to lock him up at home instead.
