You Haoyu was also able to hear the fiery speech his agent was delivering back on the car from afar.

His brows furrow when the names of the management companies came up. He slams the car door shut and tells the driver, “go.”

The driver is surprised, “but Wu-ge…”

“Who knows how long he has to speak for. You can wait if you don’t mind being late.”

The driver is convinced, and starts the car.

His experience tells him that between the two of them, clearly the celebrity You‘s words carry more weight than agent Wu.

The agent has his back to the van so he doesn’t notice. Instead, Du You sees it and tries to notify the man, but he interrupts him.

“Mr. Du, what do you think?”

“I think…”

The agent looks quite expectant.

“Would you like someone driving you to the movie shoot?”

“???”

Naturally, he doesn’t have to. The agent is not a celebrity, so he can just take public transport.

He leaves some words behind before departing, “Mr. Du, please consider my advice.”

So Du You looks over at Ryan, who tilts his head, clearly not having understood a word the man said.

And, while he spoke passionately, Du You himself wasn’t much interested either. He’s not ambitious the way the agent seems to make him out to be.

He was probably the CEO of the Du Conglomerate thanks to his… talents (?).

The system clarifies [It’s setting, the word is setting!]

Anyway, it might be a different story with someone else, but Ryan is too different from someone ‘normal.’ If he made a ruckus, it would be troublesome to deal with.

Besides, former interactions with him have indicated he has no qualms actually murdering people.

So, he cannot be let out.

Du You tells Ryan, “I’m going now, so go back.”

Ryan clings to him, “no way. I haven’t seen you for so long so I want to stay with you.”

Then he tries to rub his dishevelled furry head on Du You, but he fails due to his hair being dragged backwards.

His skin hurting, he is ready to gnaw on the disagreeable man. Qin Ge lets go and quickly dodges with a step back.

They stand grimacing at each other. The atmosphere is tense.

Ryan says, “lover, he is bullying me.”

Qin Ge’s patience is truly drained hearing that dumb way of addressing again, “gege, just send the dumb wolf to some circus. It is certainly even more suited to be there than going into the entertainment industry.”

While Ryan does not know what a ‘circus’ is, but whatever the man puts worth would definitely not be somewhere good. His ears pop out as he is ready to lunge.

Qin Ge narrows his eyes. When an ‘X’ starts to become visible in his eyes, Du You intervenes, “sit.”

With a ‘thump,’ the werewolf halfway in the air——falls flat onto the ground.

Given he is a tough werebeast though, it doesn’t even so much as hurt. He quickly jumps back up, straightening himself, but is looking at Du You with pitiful puppy eyes. He cannot understand why Du You was targeting him alone.
