Chapter 23

Ara's POV 

I snapped my head to the owner of the voice . My eyes almost popped out to see Jungkook looking at me with cold gaze , gaze that almost piercing through my innocent soul . I gulped and got up totally embarrassed . " Uhhh....Wh- "

" So...." He glanced at Taehyung for a few seconds before turning to me . " You have a crush on your blue haired body guard huh ? " I glared him . " Oops ...I mean your Bestfriend ." 

" Stop reading my mind , that's my privacy ......don't invade it . You don't have to know everything about me ." I rolled my eyes at him and looked at Taehyung who was now Hi5ing with the guards with a cute box smile . 

" There's no privacy between husband and wife . I can understand you princess ......I can ." He chuckled and stared at me deeply . " I can help you move on ...." He said as he started stepping closer towards me . How he gonna help me ? " How ? That's simple .....just shift your feelings for someone else ......" He pinched my cheek . " I have to go for practice .....bye ." He winked and walked down in the arena . I don't know what to say . I was just dumb founded . 

Jungkook pulled off his shirt revealing his bare torso making my jaw drop . My eyes pop out seeing his hot , toned abs and well built biceps . Can't deny ......He's handsome . 

" Thank You !! " Jungkook turned and flashed his bunny smile . I rolled my eyes . Oh god he's mind reading ability is creeping me out . I can't even fangirl anyone . I scoffed and walked back to my room with red face . 

Time Skip 

He's just 18 ? I'm 17 ......This is fucking child marriage !! 

" Princess ? Get ready ......this is the outfit that her Highness selected for you....please be ready , the engagement party is in a few hours . I can't believe our Hanuel-ah gonna be engaged ." Yoona said placing my new hanbok on the bed . I sighed looking at the mirror , totally not interested in the engagement . There's no backbone in our relationship , it won't survive for long , then why all this formality ?

I looked at my reflection and smiled satisfied . I walked downstairs with all the maids following me . I fake smiled at the relatives . I stood near mom and Dad with a gloomy face . " Wae ? Be happy ......dear , what we are doing is for your future ....at least smile for Mom ." Mom said while caressing my face . I sighed nodding with a bright fake smile . 

" Hey Cousin Hana-ah.....looks like all your dreams of being happily married is coming true isn't it ? " Oh Ri smiled evilly while pulling Jimin closer to her . " I wish you always be happy with your true love .....Isn't it Jimin ?" I balled my fist controlling my anger . 

" Congratulations Princess ....Uhh...We will talk later ." Jimin looked at me with a sad face before walked away from me with Oh Ri following . I placed my hand on my chest as tears filled in my eyes . I can feel how he's heart is aching to see his first love marrying someone else . I can feel him . 

" Anneyong Princess Hanuel !! " I turned to see Kim Brothers smiling at me . I was awed at how handsome Taehyung looked . He was just smoking hot . I smiled and hugged them . We pulled away and smiled at each other . " You are looking beautiful as always ......Hanuel-ah ." Taehyung smiled as he's hazel eyes scanned my face with affection . I gulped controlling my heart from popping out of my chest . 

" Thanks ...." I blushed , tucking my hair strands behind my ear . Taehyung pout cutely making me tilt my head confused . " What's wrong Tae ? Is something bothering you ?" He hummed in response . " What ? Tell me !! " He grabbed my hands and looked directly into my soul making my heart skip a beat . " W-wha- "

" I'm Jealous ....I thought you belong to me....but now I guess I have to share you with your Fiancé .....and I hate it ". He said in a sad tone . What he's telling ? Is this a confession ? Is he telling that he likes me ? But why now ? " Yahh !! Best friend  !! Promise me you'll treat me more special and no matter what's your relationship with your fiancé....I'll always be your first priority !! Promise me ....." He pulled out his pinky finger . " Hmm ? Promise me !! " 

Friend Zoned . 

Such a baby . Sadly I fall for someone who never loved me . 

" I promise Kim Taehyung !! That you'll be my first - " 

" Guys !! Look who's here  ......Jeon Jungkook !! " We all turned to see Jungkook coming downstairs while fixing his suit . He was looking so handsome in a formal attire . I never thought that he can look this good . And his sharp jawline was making him more attractive . He looked at me and smiled warmly . Why he acts so kind towards me ? When I treat him like a shit ? 

He stopped a few steps away from me and extended his arm like a gentle man but then he's gaze landed on Taehyung's hand holding mine . We three exchanged glances . Jungkook clenched his jaw and cleared his throat , he walked closer to us with a smirk . 

" If you won't mind......Can I take my ' FUTURE WIFE ' with me ? Kim Taehyung ."
