Chapter 24

Ara's POV 

I slipped my hand out of Taehyung's grip and hold Jungkook's arm . " Better ." He smiled proudly . We looked at Taehyung who smiled bitterly . I really felt bad but I wasn't in a mood to create scene and embarrass my family . I bowed to Kim brothers and walked with Jungkook to the center where my parents were waiting for us . 

" Thank you guys for coming to the Royal palace and becoming a part of this Royal ceremony .....I really appreciate that . Today is the engagement ceremony of the crowned princess of Asylvia , Jung Hanuel with the person who's destined to be her husband , the one who defeated my son , the future King of Asylvia as it was said by the oracle .......Jeon Jungkook from Hemel !! " All showered claps making me gulp in nervousness . 

" Nervous ?" Jungkook asked as he looked at me . I looked away ignoring his question . How dare he to treat Taehyung like that ? And now showing that he's worried about me ? Hahaha too funny . He let out a deep sigh making me gaze at him from the corner of my eyes . 

Time Skip 

I stared at the ring in my ring finger . I let out a deep sigh before falling on my bed lazily . Is this my destiny ? I guess.....I should learn to adjust . I mean I can't say no to what is fixed . Maybe I can try to love my fiancé ? Jeon Jungkook ? Try.....to love him . 

" Congratulations !! Mrs. soon - to - be - Jeon ." Yoona smirked as she entered my room . She sat beside me and smiled at my ring . " I guess Jungkook selected this ......I heard that all the princesses that came in the party were infatuated to Prince Jungkook ."She said squealing . I sighed shaking my head . 

" Not interested to be his wife ....besides I don't care what others think about him ." I closed my eyes only to get a flashback of Jungkook staring at me while pushing the ring in my finger . Ahh....It's like a nightmare !! 

" He's not a bad guy princess . He's just 18 , naïve , handsome , powerful , loving , understanding , caring , responsible and loyal . What else do you want from a guy ? It's really surprising that you found all these qualities in a 18 years old guy , and he's too patience ....if it was some other man he would have ran away being treated like shit ......but Jungkook ? He...He stayed and still waiting for your love . I'm so impressed . If you don't wanna be Mrs. Jeon....I don't have any proble- " I jolt up with a disgusting look on my face .

" He's 18 and you are 21 , not a good match and he's already engaged ......why don't you go and look for someone else ?" I said with a pout making her giggle nodding . 

" I agree....but age doesn't matter , the things that matters is feelings ." She said literally fangirling that red head brat . My left eye twitched seeing her like this . 

" That's triple C's " 

She blinked looking at me totally confused . " Mwo ?" I giggled laying back on the bed like an idiot as she looked too cute when she looks confused . 

" Cringey , Creepy and Cheesy ." 

" Yahhh !! " She gasped and started tickling me , I can't help but laugh . She let me go and wished me good night . I sighed heavily staring at the ring . Is that you Jeon Jungkook ? My Mr. Right ?

Jungkook's POV 

I laid on my bed while staring at the ring , resting on my ring finger . My lips curved to smile when..... 

" Hey.....Congrats , You are now officially our family member Jungkook !! Hey ....Are you blushing ?" Hoseok Hyung said with a teasing tone making me cover my face . He laughed out loud . " Well......lets go out for a drink !! My friends are already waiting for us , come on Ppalli !! " He said sitting beside me . 

" Uhh....Me ? But- "

" No buts ....Asylvian wine is very unique , I bet you'll like it .....c'mon....Don't reject your Hyung ." Hoseok smiled making me nod in defeat . I was not good in drinking alcohol and I don't wanna act like a brat after being drunk . 

We walked out to the garden where a group of men waiting for us . I bowed and sat beside them . 

" Anneyong !! We are Hoseok's friends !! " They smiled making me flash my cute bunny smile . A man in green hanbok pulled me into a tight hug and all of them congratulate me for the engagement . 

Servants filled our glasses , I hesitated but picked up a glass and sipped it . All were princes from small provinces and were talking about politics .......And I was bored . I just drank two glass while they were all drunk . I shook my head in disbelief and started walking back to my room but then I realized something......

I was lost . 

Ara's POV 

I wasn't feeling sleepy . It was really hot and my mind wasn't in peace so I changed into this : 

I stretched and walked out towards Cheongug -ui - mun garden . It was also called as Heaven's gate . I sat there on stairs staring at the beautiful night sky while rapping on Boombayah . " Click , clack badda Bing badda boom ..... muneul bagchamyeon modu nal balabom ...gudi aesseo -" The breeze hitting my face made me calm and the place was really relaxing . I let down my jacket revealing my thin night gown which was lil backless and barely covered my thighs revealing my cleavage . That was my fav place and no one comes at that garden especially at this hour . 

Who cares It was midnight though . I smiled at my reflection , Hanuel was really pretty , not like Ara , a nerd . Everybody loved her while Ara was a loner . I kinda feel blessed to be send here....I'm happy that at least I was around the people who cares about me . Mom said that when you look at the reflection in the pond under moonlight and think about your true love .....you'll see your other half . Your soulmate . 

I took a deep breathe and looked at my reflection , a smile crept as I saw my face . But then I saw someone which made my smile fade away and changed into a disgust . 

" What the actual heck ? Nooooo !! This isn't true !! "
