The current pandemic isn't a good thing but that's not to say that the resultant lockdown didn't have its benefits to you. As a three year old, you didn't understand the situation; all you knew was that for the first time in forever your parents were home all the time and you loved it. For around 8 months of the year, you rarely saw your father due to his busy career but what else could you expect, he was a Formula 1 driver for Mercedes or as your grandparents explained, 'he's a racing driver' – the technical details didn't matter to you. Your mum, Rita Ora, was as busy as they come. She was always either filming for a TV Show, on tour or writing music in a studio. They both tried to bring you along to the races and to the studios, but they weren't suitable places for a 3 year old. You always went to Silverstone as your grandparents could look after you but going to the other races was often out of the questions as when Lewis was busy there'd be no one to babysit you. The same applied to Rita; when she was on stage – who would be available to watch you.

You often became upset as you missed them a lot and FaceTime or phone calls just weren't the same. Your grandparents always explained to you that he was racing home to you and that was why he always came first in the races.

And thus, the lockdown provided the perfect opportunity for some family time. You spent the days playing in the garden with Lewis and Rita, and you were able to go on walks with Roscoe and Coco. Lewis even let you sit on his lap as he practiced on his racing simulator. It really felt like you were driving, and you couldn't contain the giggles that escaped you.

On the 3rd day of lockdown, the sun was shining, and the entire family went outside in the back garden and played in the pool until your skin turned wrinkly. As you sat on the side of the pool, Lewis in front of you in case you fell in, you threw the ball and watched with laughter as Roscoe and Coco attempted to reach into the pool to get the ball before giving up and swimming to retrieve it.

On the 5th day of lockdown, your mum and you put on a fashion show for Lewis and the dogs. It was so much fun as you got to experience the glitz and glamour of getting your hair and makeup done and dressing in a pretty outfit. Lewis watched with tears in his eyes as you tried to copy your mum and strut down the catwalk (read: hall). He couldn't believe how grown up you'd gotten. It amazed him every time you FaceTime each other to see how much bigger you'd gotten. Rita, herself, knew that you missed them terribly when they were away, but her career was growing by the second and she could never settle to be a housewife – it just wasn't in her. She received a lot of hate daily because of her choice to continue her career and she couldn't accept the fact that she was expected to give up her prospering career while no one expected Lewis to do anything. This in itself had caused a few arguments over the years as Lewis continuously told Rita that she didn't need to work but Rita knew that, she wanted to work so as to not be reliant on Lewis all the time.

After a week of lockdown, you were positively worn out and as you lay in the middle of your parents on their bed, cuddled into your mum's chest while Lewis ran his fingers up and down your back gently, soothing you to sleep. You looked up at your mum, "Can you sing for me?" You loved your mother's voice – it in itself you lull you to sleep.

"Of course, sweetie. What will I sing?" Rita leaned back slightly so that she could see you and you lifted your head up to mumble your reply before settling back onto her chest.

"Only want you." You mumbled and Rita began to sing softly. From beside you Lewis watched lovingly as his two favourite girls cuddled together and he couldn't help but think how perfect his life had turned out. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that you were 3 already – it felt like yesterday that you were born.

It was sad to say that this was probably the most time you'd spent with your parents in months but as you drifted off to sleep to the sound of your mother softly singing, Lewis whispered, "You're coming everywhere with me when this is all over."
