Scott brought his and Alison's kid to Stile's house. She is 5 so she doesn't fully understand what happened when her mother got into the car accident.
"Uncle Stiles, why don't you have a wife?" Penny asked.
"Because I'm gay," Stiles said, adding another block to their stack.
"What does that mean?" Penny put down the block that was in her hand.
"It mean I like boys, not girls," Stiles explained.
"So...why don't you have a husband?" Penny asked.
Stiles looks at Derek who is in the kitchen making food.
"I don't know. Why DON'T I have a husband DEREK?" Stiles snaps.
Derek looks at Stiles and smirks.
"What? I'm a man who wants my man and I want people to see that you are my man."
"Just like Beyonce," Penny says. "If you like it, put a ring on it."
Stiles laughs and hugs Penny.
"And how do you know Beyonce little girl?"
"My mom plays it when it's just us in the car."
"Ah, okay."
