Chapter one: "Angry Duck"

After summer break has ended, me and Cloud decided to pack up for college. My sisters forgave Cloud for what he did and I was entertained when I saw Adeline struggling to say sorry to him.

I felt Cloud squeeze me tighter by the waist while he slept on my bed in my dorm room
He acts as if he doesn't live on one of his brother's penthouse

We are now 12 hours away from home here in Alberta, the flight was a different experience because I got jet-lagged which resulted in affecting my body's sleep schedule when I reached my dorm.

Coincidentally Cloud's university was closer to Dustin's penthouse than my dorm which was located on the east side of the university, we both attended different universities that are only 2km apart and Cloud would visit me in any way he can if he has time
Which he always has because he finishes his homework quickly to spend time with me

While studying my notes I can see from the corner of my eye my roommate and her boyfriend playing Uno cards

"Try making me get a 4 and we'll break up," Cheryl said to her boyfriend named Paul.
Cheryl, I think your relationship hangs in the balance the moment you played that card game

When Cheryl met me she knew instantly who I am because the story of the wild goose chase has spread to the entire country and some neighboring countries too, almost every student and teacher on campus knows who I am.

Paul looks troubled and a cold sweat falls down at the side of his face "Babe, why would you break up with me because of a card game?"

Paul came from the UK and Cloud instantly knew it, he told me that British people knew each other immediately apart from accent when they meet like how different Asians identify their kind.

Cheryl was a Filipina who migrated to Canada from the Philippines recently, she was getting used to the weather here since she came from a tropical country.
Everybody knows Cheryl as the girl who wears multiple layers of jackets when stepping out of our dorm

Cloud opened his eyes and looked up from my waist, my eyes meeting his bright forest green eyes. My hand went to rake his hair with my fingers "Sleep some more, you haven't had enough sleep last night because of assignments remember?"
Although Cloud was getting better at sleeping, his insomnia won't just disappear just like that. He did struggle a little in sleeping but not like before.

Cloud nodded and rested his head back on my lap then closed his eyes, I saw Cheryl looking like she is about to say something loudly so I put both of my hands to cover Cloud's ear when she said loudly "I can't believe it!"

It turns out that Paul ran out of cards thus making him the winner

I think my ears bled from how loud she was, thankfully Cloud didn't wake up because my hands were covering his ears

"Cheryl please don't forget my boyfriend is here too," I said to her and she replied to me with "Sorry" in a whisper voice before crossing her arms at her boyfriend

Today was a Saturday, the only day where me and Cloud can spend our entire day together since Classes and sometimes group projects swallow up our time. I checked the time on my phone and it says 9:32 AM

It was early in the morning so I didn't want to disturb sleeping Cloud

I felt someone kiss my lips waking me up from my small nap after studying, Cloud was on top of me and the other couple are not in sight in the room "It's afternoon already" he said before using his finger to put a strand of hair behind my ear
