Chapter sixty: "Royal Wedding"

"Are you ready?" Cloud asked me as he drive me to the Marshal manor where the wedding would be held today

I wore the dress that was designed by my aunt and Sophia, Cloud also looked dashing in his suit
I would be lying that I wasn't nervous

"Maybe...I don't know" I looked away out the window to hide my nervousness
Cloud would be really nervous if he sees me like this

It was 8 AM in the morning and we woke up extra early for the preparation of the wedding with the rest of the family members
It is also worth noting that we would spend time with Cloud's side of the family

No words could explain what I'm feeling right now, the easiest way I could describe this feeling is that it felt like my mind is still hazy and I still pretend that all of this is just a dream

One wrong slip up and...I don't even wanna know what might happen

Last night was a blast but today felt like I am carrying a heavy burden. Although I tried my best to hide my nervousness, Cloud being the person he is noticed it right away so he stopped the car at the side of the road

He turned his head to check on me "Are you really sure? We can skip if you like and just show up at the dinner venue"

"That sounds like a bad idea" I honestly said to him
If we skip the wedding then there would be more mean things his clan could say to me so I'm not gonna slip this up

"Is your Dad gonna show up at the wedding or the wedding reception?"

He shrugs at me before starting the car again with eyes laid down on the road "He is just the type of person who would just make everybody not prepared for his presence"

"Just like you" I added with a small smile and he returned it with a small air kiss back to me

We finally reached the Marshall manor and I felt like we stepped into a royal wedding from how extravagant everything was from the outside in. Paparazzi are lined up with their formal suits and dresses while being respectful to every guest who enters the manor

Expensive cars are parked with the valet in charge of parking them as the people who own the cars enter the enormous entrance doors

Flowers lined up the road that leads to the venue of the wedding, which was the garden where we used to have a photo shoot back in high school

There was even a person in charge of having butterflies fly around the garden as they please while keeping a check on them from time to time

White ribbons lined up to the gazebo where the priest was talking to Ava and another person who looks a bit younger than Wendy

Near the door that leads to the ballroom, Benjamin was playing with a girl his age. He saw me from far away and gave me a big grin

"There you are!"

I jumped from being startled out of my train of thoughts, Sophia walked up to me all excited "I have been looking all over for you"

"Cloud took too long in finding good shoes for the suit," I said before giggling when Cloud gave me the 'Please don't tell her that' look

Me and Cloud slept together back in his penthouse, it felt nostalgic going back to his penthouse because it felt like my second home after everything

Sophia looks down at Cloud's shoes "At least it's not converse thank goodness" she sighed in relief, I raised a brow up to Cloud
