Chapter forty-five: "It Already Has"

At first, I was skeptical why Cloud hasn't called or messaged me after 3 days but it has already been 5 days and no answer has been given. The door in the dorm room was slammed open and there came in Chris and Paup with Cheryl being last to enter the room

All of them stare at me like they were nervous to tell me something, Chis and Paul glanced at Cheryl and she reacted with wide eyes "Hey I thought you were gonna break it to her?"

Paul looked a Chris before he sighs

I put down my phone with furrowed brows "What's going on?"

Cheryl searched for something on her phone and then handed it to me, I gave her a puzzled look until I saw what it was on the phone. It was a paparazzi photo that caught Cloud in Paris being pulled by a beautiful model down the streets

Her hand was holding his wrist and I don't see what Cloud's reaction was since his face was covered with a hat

A part of me wanted to doubt the legitimacy photo but I couldn't help that I felt like that must be the reason he hasn't been calling or messaging me these days, when I called the twins they avoided answering me when I asked about Cloud
What is going on?

All of a sudden the one thing I fear the most settled within my brain
Maybe he is cheating on me

My hand that held the phone was shaking and no tears were coming out of my eyes neither do I know how to react in such a situation
This was my first relationship and I hardly know the feeling of being hurt when you found out your partner is cheating on you

My face froze and I held a cold expression "I see"

All three that were in the same room as me, felt the chill that goes along with the words I say. Chris hid behind Paul while Cheryl sat in front of me on my bed "Penelope?"

Cheryl turned her head to Paul and Chris "Could you both leave for a moment?"

Once the doors were closed and the two men were outside leaving us with some privacy I rested my head on Cheryl's shoulder
Daisy and Alice left Alberta 2 days ago so I felt a bit lonely again but the picture that I saw Cloud being caught in a picture with another girl made me lonelier

Cheryl hugged me and patted my back "It's okay, let it all out since there's only the 2 of us here"

My eyes watered and I hid my face on her shoulder "I believe Cloud wouldn't do that" my voice cracked a little when I finished my sentence
Here I am worried about him and all I get was no call or message with a photo of him being with a girl in Paris

My phone rang all of a sudden so I stopped hugging Cheryl and answered the phone "Penelope speaking"

"Hey Pip"
It was Aiden and he sounded concerned

"About the-" "You mean the picture that is now on the hot topic in the media, yeah I saw it" I answered while wiping away a tear that fell out of my eye

"Has he called you? How about the twins?"

"I called the twins but they wouldn't tell me about what is happening with Cloud, I'm just stuck here wondering what happened and why Cloud hasn't messaged it even called me for 5 days. 5 FUCKING DAYS!"

Waiting for his call or message has drained my energy every day and there was never a day that I haven't tried calling him like a desperate person

"That jackass, he promised me that he wouldn't make you cry. Hey Pip listen to me"

I continued wiping away the nonstop tears that kept falling out of my eyes, my hand couldn't stop the tears from staining my blanket and pillow. Cheryl massaged my back with one hand
