Chapter twenty-seven: "Sad Dog Ears"

"Is it true that you are multilingual?" Ken asked me as we all strolled down the hallway

I nodded and all 3 of Cloud's friends looked at me with awe, Wallace went close to me and asked "How many?"

"6 at the moment, ongoing to 7 since I think I got a hang of Japanese right now" I grinned at him

Based on my observations on all of them, Wallace is the curious one, Ken is the optimist, Brian is the peacemaker, and of course, Cloud is the troublemaker 

You wouldn't believe the storied that Brian told me when Cloud entered the university

I squinted my eyes at Cloud "I swear if we leave you for 2 hours you would be left with 1 fight and 3 injuries" a small sigh came out of my mouth as I closed my eyes

He gasped dramatically at me with a hand on his chest to add more of his pose "I don't"

I raised a brow at him then he cleared his throat and looked away "It only happened one time" Cloud tried to defend himself

"See, I knew it" I made my point to him then started walking away with Cloud catching up to me like a lost puppy

The curious bystanders were amused that their great Cloud is trying to  apologize to me as I sped up my walking even more

Ken puts his hand on Cloud's arm "Dude you pissed her off, let her cool down first"
I'm not pissed, to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed since if he continues fighting people that he disagrees with it will only get worse

Cloud finally caught up with me and to make me not try to get away from him he firmly held my hand, he didn't want to let go no matter how much I tug it "I'll try to not argue with people I disagree anymore so can you please forgive me?"

If you look closer and imagine sad dog ears on Cloud I think I almost squeezed his cheeks then forgave him on the spot
This stupid brain is trying to make me forgive Cloud if I imagine sad dog ears on him

Alright snap out of it Penelope, Cloud would not learn his lesson if you forgive him quickly

But it's your anniversary day with him!

Yeah I know

Look at him with a sad face, he looks so small yet he is the tallest between the 2 of us

I think I'm going crazy trying to fight with my subconscious mind at the moment in front of Cloud

I groaned and looked at him straight in the eyes "If you do it again I swear I don't know what to do with you anymore" I scolded him and pulled him out of the building by the hand.

Cloud's face brightened and this time the sad dog ears that I imagined him having is now replaced with a wagging tail with the dog ears pointed up

When we all stepped out of the building we met up with Cheryl, Alice, and Daisy under the tree. Daisy stood up and dusted the small grass that got stuck on her pants

As soon as she finishes, Daisy then cracked her knuckles at Cloud. He puts a hand up to stop her and hid behind me "Before you hit me, yes I slept with your best friend" he explained to her quickly

This situation reminds me again of where Daisy and Cloud first met, the tension between them before is the same tension I am sensing right now

Her left eye twitched "You could've waited until she turned 18 and yet your horny ass decided to take over, did she give you permission?"
