Chapter twenty-four: "Heavenly Good Looks"

I dashed back to the parking lot where I caught Cloud checking himself out in the car mirror and I accidentally snorted loudly that exposed me

He turned his head to find me watching him and he goes "What?"

I shrugged my shoulders and shake my head a little "Nothing, I just find it that you check yourself out a lot"
I'm not even exaggerating when I say he looks at his reflection and gazes at it for a long time

"Angel, if you are gifted with heavenly good looks as I am you would not look away and would always get the chance to admire yourself"

"So you're saying that I'm not blessed with heavenly good looks?" I raised a brow at him

"No, what I'm saying is that I'm blessed with heavenly good looks like a man and you're a God-given Angel who is my cute and adorable sidekick" he winked at me
Here we go again with the smooth-talking

"I was expecting it to be sexy and hot but ok" I mumbled to myself as I open the car door and

My cheeks burned and I turned away to face the window and avoid his intense eyes

Cloud parked the car in front of the gates and I got out with my bag at hand "Angel" he called out to me midway as I was in the process of closing the door

Both of my brows were raised "Hm?"

"Where's my kiss?" He demanded with a cute face and I chuckled

I glanced around before I got in and kissed me "Love you, see you after class" I said to him and kissed him again before closing the door and waving goodbye

He rolled down the passenger window and said "I'll pick you up in your dorm by 7 PM" he informed me loudly

"I will!" I replied and he gave me a grin before driving off

Quite a lot of people were looking at me after they saw my interaction with Cloud
Not that I don't mind it anymore but it still irritates me because of the unnecessary attention

Just the everyday glares of his fangirls and the curious and perverted eyes of guys that watch my every move like the weirdos they are

At a far distance, I could see Chris running to the entrance and nearly fell down on his face because of a passing skateboard that suddenly stopped right in front of him. The skater boy apologized to him and Chris just shrugged it off like he didn't mind

"Are you ok?" I asked him

The skater boy and Chris faced me "Yeah I'm fine, just a little scratch" he showed me a scratch on his arm

I glanced at the skater boy "I think your name is Jonathan right? Roderick's cousin?"
I heard that Jonathan was not perverted like Roderick but he was known for breaking quite a lot of rules

Being the son of the university secretary does have its perks of being able to stay when you break a lot of rules but sadly not for everyone who doesn't have family connections here

"Yes I am, You're Penelope right?" He pointed to me "The-" "Wild Goose Chase Girl, yes I know" I finished his sentence

Seriously, my nickname sounds so ridiculous. Who the hell thought that it would be a great idea to call me Wild Goose Chase Girl!?
