Chapter eighty-four: "Travel"

"And then Cara told us that she wants a man that is obedient like a puppy, can you believe that?" I asked Cloud over the phone who I can hear laughing a little

"Well this is Caramia Price we are talking about, the girl who beat the hell out of Danny" he replied

After hanging out with the entire family in front of the fireplace with hot cocoa that Natalie and Ella made, I went to my bedroom and called Cloud

I lay flat on my belly on the bed with a pillow underneath my chest
My chest isn't too big, it's only an average C cup. So this position is quite comfortable

My eyes explore my newly decorated room because Aunt Laborè was now the one using it with Ella while I was away

"So uh, how are things going there?" I asked him and he chuckled lightly

"It's fine, as long as I don't bump into Dad in the mansion before Christmas"

His voice sounded so disappointed

Well, we can't expect to have perfect fathers. Cloud got the short end of the stick after the car accident so Theo's actions were extremely ridiculous

Like seriously, your son went through a lot of trauma and what did he do? He just ignores him and gives him cold eyes

"Cloud"

"Hm"

"Just remember that if you feel suffocated in there my room is always open"

He snorted and muffled his chuckle "And I thought I was rebellious, Angel you know how your Dad feels to have a boy in your room"

I giggled "It doesn't hurt to try and keep it a secret, besides, the lock on my door isn't for design only you know?"

And for the entire 3 hours, we chatted until one of us fell asleep

"RISE AND SHINE!" someone yelled loudly in my bedroom that echoed so loudly that I was startled awake

There at the doorway were Mira and Max, the two siblings who just love bickering as their past time

I glared at them without giving them an answer. We were in the room just staring at each other with Mira giving me a sheepish grin and Max who made a thin line with his lips

Rubbing my eyes and sat up before asking them "When did you guys arrive here?"

"I came here yesterday but I was waiting for this dumbass to arrive so we can meet you together" Mira pointed at her brother who gave her the look

Mira invited herself into my room "Sooo, did you guys enjoy the gift?" she winked at me with mischief leaving Max confused about what his sister is talking about
God no, not that, not in my parent's house

With a flushed red face, I turned my head in Max's direction "Can you please leave us for a moment? It's a girl talk"

Max shrugged and just listened without question before walking out of my room while closing the door on the way

"Mira that gift was very ridiculous"

She observed my facial expression for 5 minutes and a sly smirk formed on her pink lips as she chuckled "You guys used it didn't you?"

My hand hurriedly covered her mouth "I said shush, I need silence to calm my unimaginable embarrassment when I opened that damned gift box" I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe
