Chapter eighty: "Guitar"

Cloud's POV

Soon, me and Angel entered the penthouse with all of the things that we purchased. I did offer to carry Angel's groceries but she didn't need my help and the pure determination on her face was priceless when carrying the bags

I hang our coats on a coat rack near the entrance while she was busy putting away the groceries

The penthouse was quiet
Is Liam asleep again? Or maybe he is on a date with his girlfriend I suppose

"Cloud could you please put the cans on the upper shelf?" she asked being a little busy body in the kitchen. I helped put away the last of the groceries before we could rest

A tap was felt on my shoulder after I sat and relaxed on the couch. My eyes opened to see her looking down at me with a sheepish grin "Uh if you don't mind, can you play the guitar?"
She looked a bit shy like she didn't want to disturb me

A smile slowly formed on my lips "Do you want me to sing for you?"

She shook her head and handed me the napkin where she wrote down the musical notes. It was easy to read since I did learn how to read musical notes when I started learning music

A cherry blush spread across her cheeks while one of her hands scratched the nape of her neck "S-sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you but I don't know how to play the guitar, and Liam doesn't have a piano in this penthouse"
All Angel knew was playing the piano, I am the only one between us that could play both the piano and guitar

"Cloud?" she tilted her head as if I wasn't responding to her request

Her voice broke me in my train of thoughts. She grinned down at me "It's fine if you don't want, I could find a piano in my university that I could borrow" Angel started walking away but I stopped her in a knick of time with quick hands

I held her wrist to stop her from walking away

"Hold on, I'll get my guitar" I stretched right after standing up

Goddamn it Cloud don't simp right in front of her

Her eyes sparkled with happiness along with the lights in the room
I like it when her eyes do that, it looks so cute

I went to my room and grabbed my guitar that was hanging on the wall before I went back to the living room to find Angel sitting on the couch with the musical notes all laid out on the coffee table

I sat beside her and like a koala, she wrapped her arms around me from my back while her chin rests on my shoulder. Her curious eyes watch my fingers play the guitar as I follow the notes

If anyone is asking how I am, I am fine but my heart was beating incredibly fast because her warm breath is near my ear

Her soft lips kissed my left ear where her head was near, this made my eyes go wide in surprise

"Your ears are red again hehe" she kissed it once more
I'm gonna die from a heart attack because of this woman doing this to me
