Chapter ninety-one: "Log Cabin"

Nobody uttered a word, the room almost felt like there were no people at all since it was dead silent other than the sound of the crackling fire in the fireplace

"I'm gonna find Cloud" I walked out of the manor as I grabbed my coat from a maid giving it to me on the way to the door

"Penelope!"

I turned my head to find all the brothers and cousins running after me, Oliver patted ny shoulder "We'll help you find Cloud"

My hand patted his that lays on my shoulder "Thank you"

Everybody started searching for him while I dialed the group chat, all of them took a while to answer before they were all complete. Will looked like he was getting ready for bed, Alice was in the middle of relaxing in the lining, and Jane was outside based on the snow behind her

The twins were together since they were at their family Christmas party

Daisy, Max, Mira, and Peter answered the call simultaneously. Yara was last to answer the call

"What do you need girl? It's Christmas eve" Mira yawned that her mouth formed a wide O

Half of them looks were getting ready to turn in for the night. I gave them a sheepish grin before changing my expression to a serious one "Cloud is missing"

"WHAT?!" Nick yelled over the call that all of us covered our ears

"Goddamn it Nick, you don't need to yell in this call! My fucking earphones are on full volume!" Yara scolded Nick while Nikki held her laughter. Peter and Max chuckled a little

Alice and Jane are now concerned

Jane scratched the back of her head "How did this happen? Cloud would not just go missing"

I sighed deeply "He and his uncle fought...well it's more like his uncle punched him in the face"

"THAT MOTHERFUCKER" Will yelled over the call so we have to cover our ears again

His voice was extremely loud that Jane turned her head to their home because it turns out she was just staying outside of their home

Alice rolled up her sleeves "Why I oughta punch the living hell out of that uncle" she threatening grumbled under her breath

Mira puts the headset mic close to her lips "How about instead of getting angry with some uncle maybe we should start searching for Cloud?"
Mira was right, Cloud could be anywhere right now

All of us agreed after we discussed which location we were gonna search, Alice and Peter would go search for him at our old high school

Jane and Max would be searching for him at the park. Nick and Nikki volunteered to search for him at the penthouse

Daisy would be with Yara to search for him at the park

While searching around, Liam ran up to me to notify me that Cloud is not on any flight and that there is no one using the family jet
He just left, he wouldn't go too far from here

The only two locations that I could think of right now are the field where he took me so he can watch the stars through the telescope right after visiting my family or the log cabin that he built

Since I don't have a car, I asked one of the brothers to drive me. Noah volunteer, Dustin, and Mason decided to come along to help scour the area easily

We decided to drive to the field first since it was the nearest location to the manor, the log cabin was a bit further because of the perfect location away from the city to find fresh air and a scenic view of the nature
