Chapter fifty-nine: "That's What She Said"

"FINALLY!" Yara yelled at the top of her lungs when she saw us enter through the front door of the twins' penthouse

She grabbed two soda cups and handed them both to me and Cloud, Yara squealed when she saw Coco in my arms while handing me my cup

Typical Yara ignoring everybody again once she sets her eyes on either a dog or a book

"Who's this cutie?" she asked me while giving kissy faces to Coco wagging her tail

Adeline popped her head out of the fridge door "What took you guys so long?"

I sat on the sofa "the ride back took us too long" I explained as I took a spicy fried chicken in a bucket and dipped it in some sauce before taking a bite

Everybody in the penthouse was watching a movie but paused it because Adeline needed a bathroom break and Alice wanted to order another set of aloha burgers

Cloud put his hand in his left pocket and pulled out his phone to check how much did they ordered "12k... Were you guys starved for 5 months?" he asked them with a bewildered face

Will swallowed the fries he was chewing and replied "You did allow us to go borrow your card for food, so we went wild with the orders" he shrugged both shoulders at him before putting his hand in a bucket full of onion rings

"So where was this place Cloud brought you?" Jane asked me while snuggling herself in Max's arms around her while sipping on a coke float

"He brought me to our family home" I answered with a straight face before everybody started choking on their food and drinks

Jane coughed out her soda, and Alice started hitting Will's back because one onion ring was accidentally swallowed without chewing. Adeline slammed the fridge door with wide eyes and Nikki was left confused as to why her brother went up to hug her out of the blue

Will was the worse case because his face instantly went red before Nick and Cloud went to give him a hand to cough out the onion ring

Will was now left on the floor caching air with Alice beside him

Alice raised her head to look at me while massaging her boyfriend's chest "Bitch are you pregnant?!"
The fuck?!

I stood up immediately "I'M NOT PREGNANT SO CALM DOWN!!"
Everybody in this damn room is such over thinkers

Cloud came out to my defense "Yeah, if she were pregnant I would have started a ball for that"
Cloud, honey, you're going a bit too overboard with the ball thing

Adeline chuckled as she leaned at a wall right beside Nick "Well that was a close call, if you were pregnant your stomach would be big in a matter of a few months" she made a huge circle with her hands and I pointed it out

"That was too big"

"That's what she said" Nick added, earning him a shoulder slap from Adeline while he laughs with the guys in the room

I rolled my eyes at them along with Nikki

We heard the microwave make a ding noise and all of our attention went to the kitchen countertop "Well that finished early than expected" Jane stood up to get the food in the microwave

I look at Cloud and have my index finger pointed at him "Don't you dare" I said to him, his cheeks were now big from trying to hold it in. Cloud turns his head and looks at Will

But Will has a fork near his throat by Alice "Don't you also dare sweetie". Will then turn his eyes to Max in the room

Max raises both of his hands "I don't want to be involved, why don't we let the host say it" he points his finger at Nick
