Chapter seventy-five: "Sweet Treatments"

I spoon-fed Cloud until the entire porridge in the bowl was all finished. My hand grabbed a tissue from the tissue box that was placed inside the nightstand drawer and I cleaned the corner of his lips

Cloud drank his medicine and made a funny face because it tasted weird

"Alright, time for you to rest again"

He groaned and complained, "But I already did, I'm not sleepy anymore". With one hand on my hip, I lifted a brow at him

"Then are you planning to be sick like this for the entire week?"

He bit his lip with deep thought
It's so cute that he gets grumpy while being sick

"I thought so, sleep tight, I'll give you a towel bath after lunch" I cleaned up everything and gave him a peck on the lips before tucking him back on the bed
I don't get why some guys hated being treated like a baby, Cloud didn't find it a problem and he really enjoyed it

Not all the time though, he wanted to take care of me too. Just exchanging sweet treatments between lovers

Before I could even step out, in the corner of my eyes, I saw Cloud looking at me with a sad puppy eyes expression
Oh come on

"I'll be back to stay with you, I'm not going anywhere if that is what you're worried about" I smiled at him

"I overheard your conversation with Cheryl"
Oh

Cloud must've wanted to join me in the kitchen and must've overheard Cheryl asking me to join them for the amusement park but I stayed to take care of him. He must be feeling guilty right now

"You can go if you like, I remember you love amusement parks" his voice is still croaking and tried his best to persuade me to join Cheryl and Paul on the trip to the amusement park

I scoff "No way! If I go then you go, we come in pairs so I'm not going" I stubbornly stated to him before walking out of the bedroom to clean the dishes

Right after lunchtime, it was time for me to give Cloud a towel bath. So I brought a basin with lukewarm water inside to the bedroom where I saw Cloud reading a book with a cool patch stuck on his forehead since I asked Liam if he could buy a cool patch at the pharmacy at the front of the building

"Time for your bath" I chimed as I set down the basin on a table near the bed, my hand then pulled the curtains shut for privacy
Yes I know that shutting a curtain when you live in a penthouse sounds ridiculous but you gotta admit that paparazzi these days are desperate, they would want a story even if it means looking through a penthouse window by whatever technology they use

I helped Cloud undress and we first started cleaning his face and torso. Cloud just sat there while I cleaned him with the wet towel that I dunked into the lukewarm water

"Your face looks cute when you're so focused," Cloud said as a compliment when I was cleaning his muscular arms

"I gotta clean you properly, we can't leave a single spot unclean, or else your sickness might get worse"

"And here is the neat freak again"

I rolled my eyes at him before dunking the towel into the basin and squeezing the extra water "So, remove your pants"

Cloud made a cross with his arms on top of his chest then narrowed his eyes at me "pervert" he mumbled and I gasped

"Whatever" I returned to my normal resting face before I pulled the duvet away from Cloud's legs
It was amazing how I just got used to the situation of seeing Cloud naked but of course, I still get flustered at some times
