Chapter ninety-four: "Honey"

My entire face turned beet red and I stood up immediately in front of him with shyness overtaking my entire body
Hold on! I didn't mean that kind of thing that I would do!

"Can you change it? I don't think my mind could process the embarrassment when doing that" I honestly said to him

Cloud leaned his back on the couch "Then I guess I'll have to leave your cute photo that shows your ass as my laptop wallpaper"

I crossed my arms in defeat
This is a lose-lose for me

If I leave it be then more embarrassment might come to me in the future

With a defeated face I ask "Only you right?"

He looks at me and smirked "Of course, after all..." he had both of his hands on my hips to pull me close to him "I can't let anyone see what's mine"
There goes his possessive side again

Even though I'm the one standing up, it feels like he has more control between the two of us and he wasn't even trying

I bit the insides of my cheek and thought long and hard about my decision "Where?"

"Inside my penthouse" he grinned up at me

"With the elevator locked?"

He winked at me "Sure"

His birthday won't be that far, after Christmas there's New Year. It'll only be a few weeks until his birthday

"W-whatever" I rolled my eyes at him and pretended that I don't seem to care but he knew that I was only acting

Cloud snorted and laughed out loud "I'm just messing with you love, I'm not gonna force you in doing something you're uncomfortable at doing"

He was only joking but the entire situation almost made me want to hide in a hole

With quick hands, he turned off the tv and stood in front of me with his towering height "Although I'm very 'active' I still respect your opinion on this" his hand crept at the back of my neck to lean me forward to kiss him

"But what about the wallpaper picture?"

"I'll just store it in a private folder with a password" he shrugged it off and then head to the kitchen "Since we don't have any food in the kitchen, do you want to join me in buying groceries"

I nodded eagerly but stopped when I realized that I don't have any proper clothes to use outside. My fingers fiddled with the hem of his life hoodie with my eyes trying to avoid his gaze "Umm... Uh"

I looked at him "You go ahead"

His eyes first looked at my face and slowly go down to my legs "You look good in my hoodie, wear that" he turned his back to look at the empty fridge to think about what we need

"Are you sure? You're not being picky about it right?"
Cause I know for a fact that Cloud loves picking clothes for me like his mother does

Like something struck him at the side of his head, he took a second glance at me "Maybe you're right" with a few steps, he was now in front of me "Wanna go shopping for clothes?"

A giggle escaped my lips "Cloud I didn't bring any money and besides, we're only a few miles away from my ho-" "I didn't say you were gonna pay" he cut me off
I love shopping because I get to buy something new but realistically, it's hurting my wallet too so I'm on a budget even if my boyfriend is filthy rich

Yes I know it's weird to be shy but asking your boyfriend for money is like making me feel like I'm only after his money which I'm not

Cloud knows this so he doesn't force me if he feels like I'm a bit uncomfortable to do so
