Chapter 54: Alola League Part IV - A Fated Battle Between Rivals

Hi! I'm sorry I didn't get this out sooner, I've been a bit busier than usual lately. But I finally found time to write another chapter. This chapter has Ash taking on Kiawe in the Alola League Finals. We've already reached the finals! But just because it's the finals doesn't mean it'll end that quickly. Well I'll stop talking now and let you all enjoy, so go do that now!

Ash was standing on his balcony watching the sunrise, Pikachu and Greninja right next to him. All three watched in silence as they had determined facial expressions.

"Here we are again guys..." Ash said.

"Yeah...feels like the Kalos League only ended yesterday" Pikachu said.

"Feels like that for me as well" Greninja said.

"Pikachu...Greninja..." the two Pokemon looked at him. He smiled at both of them. "Let's give it everything we've got. Let's become the Alola Region Champion together!"

Pikachu and Greninja nodded.

"We're with you Ash" Greninja said.

"Always" Pikachu added.

Ash pulled them into a group hug.

"Thanks guys...for everything."

They all smiled. Serena, Delphox and Sylveon then came out.

"Figures you three would already by up" Serena joked.

The three boys faced their respective girlfriends.

"Well, we ARE your boyfriends" Ash joked back.

Everyone shared a laugh. Stomachs started to boom.

"I guess we should all eat something before the match" Serena said.

"Sounds good to us" Ash said.

The group got ready and left the room. As they were eating, Serena spoke up.

"So Ash, do you know who you'll be using?"

Ash looked at Greninja before nodding. He turned back towards Serena.

"Yup, I know who'll be the ones."

They continued to make small talk until they checked the time.

"It's 11:18am, and your match starts at 12:30pm right?" Serena said.

Ash nodded. "That gives us enough time to get ready."

He and Serena recalled their Pokémon and headed outside. They decided to head towards an open area for Ash to prepare. Then out of nowhere, something tackled Serena to the ground.

"Serena!" Ash yelled in concern.

Delphox and Sylveon were about to attack when they heard her laughing.

"H-Hey c'mon that tickles" she said.

They walked up and saw an Espeon rubbing up against Serena.

"Serenaaaaa! You're so grown up now!" The Espeon said in excitement.

"Now now Espeon, let the poor girl up" a new voice said.

"But Chanseyyy! Its been so long since I've seen her! Just 5 more minutes!" Espeon wined.

Chansey picked her up and placed her aside. She then helped Serena back up.

"Sorry about that" she said with a smile.

"It's no prob—" Serena started but was cut off by Chansey catching her in a bone crushing hug.

"Serena I missed youuuuu!!"
