Hello all! I am so incredibly sorry it took so long to get this out. For those who didn't see my message board, I recently moved into a new place and focused on getting settled in first before I continued writing. Now that I'm mostly settled in, I'll finally start writing again! For this chapter I'll mostly be following how the battle in the anime played out, but I'll try to add in my own stuff so it's not just a copy and paste. So at long last I hope you all enjoy the chapter!
Ash and Pikachu readied themselves as Kukui and Tapu Koko did the same. The latter two decided to make the first move.
"Let's go Tapu Koko!" Kukui said.
Tapu Koko let out a battle cry as electricity surrounded the battlefield.
"This is...Tapu Koko's ability" Burnet said.
"What is it?" Grace asked.
"It's called Electric Surge. It automatically produces an Electric Terrain when it enters a battle" Burnet explained.
That's when Serena remembered when Ash first battled Tapu Koko. She looked back with worry, but believed Ash will still win. Ash didn't waste any more time.
"Charge in with Quick Attack!"
Pikachu shot off in a zig zag like motion. Tapu Koko managed to dodge every strike.
"Blow Pikachu back with Discharge!" Kukui said.
Tapu Koko shot out a powerful electric strike that caused Pikachu to fall back towards Ash.
"Get in close again with Quick Attack!" Ash said.
Pikachu ran fast again. Tapu Koko looked back and forth to keep track of Pikachu.
"Use Thunderbolt while maintaining Quick Attack!" Ash said.
Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt as he continued to run around Tapu Koko. This caused a whirl of electricity to surround Tapu Koko. Sparks then began to hit Tapu Toko over and over, who couldn't do anything since he was trapped in the electricity.
Everyone was surprised by this.
"I've never seen someone use electricity like that" Burnet said.
"But then again, this is Ash we're talking about" Serena said.
"Your future husband is very creative Serena" Grace teased.
Serena blushed hard. "MOM!!" She yelled.
Grace and Jake laughed together.
"Well, she's not wrong" Sylveon said.
"The same could be said for your future husband too Sylveon" Delphox teased.
Now it was Sylveon's turn to blush like crazy. She gave Delphox a glare, further making Delphox laugh.
After calming down, they refocused on the battle.
"Jump up with Iron Tail!" Ash said.
Pikachu used his tail as a springboard and got high into the air. Once he was directly above Tapu Koko, Ash continued his attack.
"Electro Ball!"
Pikachu swung an Electro Ball straight down towards Tapu Koko like a meteor.
"Hit it back at Pikachu!" Kukui said.
Tapu Koko used his wing and slapped the Electro Ball back towards Pikachu. He also braced himself for what was going to happen next.
