Karen: Remember when you told me you and Greg were trying to have another baby?

Dorinda forgot she said that bull shit.

Dorinda: Yeah why?

Karen: I think it worked girl...

Dorinda: Oh Karen please!

Karen: What? I thought you wanted another baby?!

Dorinda's mind was racing, she was trying to find something to say to appease Karen so she wouldn't become suspicious but at the same time the possibility of being pregnant was mind boggling.

Dorinda: It's just...we we're trying for so long and it didn't happen so I kinda put it out my mind I guess

Karen: Doe every time I'm around you you're running to the bathroom to puke and you were just talking about the smell of fish when you usually love it and beg for a piece

Dorinda's eyes got big as all the facts came flooding in her mind. She noticed she'd been gaining weight but that was normal she thought she was going to be 31 in a week, you can't be skinny forever. And then there was the nausea and vomiting but that didn't happen everyday, Dorinda threw up 24/7 when she was pregnant with Nikki. Plus she was on birth control so she didn't get her period but it had been a while since she'd seen her Gynecologist.

Karen: Have you taken any test lately?

Nikki: Mommy you have to take a test? Like a spelling test or something?

Dorinda and Karen laughed.

Dorinda: No boo don't worry about it I'll explain later

Nikki: Okay

Dorinda: But no I haven't taken any, I've been busy

Karen: Doing what?

Dorinda: ...Nothing

Karen: Girl you sound like Drew

Dorinda chuckled.

Dorinda: Plus I'll admit I'm nervous, I want another one but she's six Karen it's been just the three of us for the past six years and I don't know if she's going to be alright with that

Dorinda was impressed with herself, she was a damn good liar and she knew Karen was buying it.

Karen: Mama told you not to wait so long but you insisted!

Dorinda: I just wanted her to have me all to herself I never got that with Mama I just wanted my baby to have that

Now that was the truth, Dorinda always wanted to be the best mother to her child. She wanted to be able to give Nikki all the time she had, especially since she traveled a lot.
