Meela

I wore a matching sundress only it had magenta fringe and long sleeves. It revealed my curvy legs that were accented with magenta heeled sandals with lots of straps. My dress also emphasized my prominent chest and it was in no small reason due to my desire to show off for Satiri.

I grabbed Satiri's hand as we walked through the lobby and the Hostess from the night before smiled and waved at us. She gave away nothing with the gesture, but her tails knowingly twitched for a second.

"Stars, I'm so mortified." Satiri covered her face with her spare hand.

"So let's make some good memories. How about we grab brunch?" I suggested.

"I left all my money with my stuff." Satiri responded sadly.

"I'm offended that you think I'd let you pay for your own food on our first date."

"Date? Pfft... when did you get so cool?" Satiri giggled as she got one step closer to me.

"Well, it probably had something to do with you taking my first kiss... and then throwing up on me." I teased.

"Yes please, let's make some better memories." Satiri begged while burying her face in my shoulder.

It felt... nice. Being relied on. I mean I'm not completely together yet, but somehow, because Satiri needed me to be strong that gave me the strength.

We walked into a diner along the line of businesses that faced the ocean.

I immediately regretted my decision. When we walked in on Minerva and Hyde who were looking at menus.

"Hey Meela!" Minerva beckoned me over with a hint of desperation in her eyes.

"H-hey Mini." I walked and I felt Satiri slip her hand out of mine and held her hands behind her back casually.

I wasn't sure what was going on with her all of a sudden, but it was like she was distancing herself. We sat down at their table while Hyde... Sebas as Hyde... made no move to acknowledge our approach.

"Long time no see, who's your friend?" Minerva asked.

"I'm Satiri," Satiri introduced herself as she sat down noticeably distant from me. She was distancing herself, even if she were just being shy I wasn't about to have any of that.

"And this must be the infamous, mister Hyde." I said as I scooted my chair over so that it was right next to Satiri.

"Hey." Hyde said, barely acknowledging us.

"What are you doing?" Satiri whispered urgently.

"Sitting down." I responded and she was visibly disturbed that I didn't whisper back. I turned my attention back to Minerva. "What are your plans for today?"

Minerva suddenly looked nervous and fidgeted with her fingers. "We're um..."

"We're on a date." Hyde finally gave me his full attention.

"Um. Ya." Minerva smiled shyly and played with a curl of her head.

"I hope we aren't interrupting." I suddenly understand why Hyde has been so cold to us. "We are actually on a date too."
