225. Online Friends: Write an ode to someone online you've met and become friends with.

Well... I have a lot of online friends. And I don't really want to single one out and exclude everyone else, so this will be an ode to all of you. Cheers!

*

It starts with a line,
Of potent intent and feeling fine
Through the vastness of space and time
To rest obligingly at me and mine

It continues with an ache
In fingers as they leave blurs in wake
Sweetness and laughter they make
And each message I eagerly take

It heightens with help
Given from one's own self
With care you cannot sell
Drawn from heart's own well

It draws to a close with a tear
As we confide to willing eyes, not ears
And lean on each other despite distance and years
Sharing our burdens and dispelling our fears

It ends with an ode
Carrying a loving load
Sweetly given, not sold
And resting that our friendship is told
