Humanity by Phoenix Rising
There's a mist that rises in the east
Unfurling over these dead lands
Eating the landscape likes it's a feast
Fanned onward by God's own hands
I stare at the devastation
Writhing on the ground.
Even the eternal sun
Hides behind a cloud.

Having seen too much,
And though to the devil it's sold
Even he would not touch.
It is lonely now,
Where battles once raged
It’s quiet where once loud,
All life having faded.
